The entire Gilroy team were excellent in every facet of the job. We had them repair and pour a new concrete foundation to our old historic barn. They treated the building and property with respect, worked quickly and on time, maintained excellent communication and sent us photos of the work when we couldn't be on site. The new flooring really transformed the old building and impressively they came back at the end of the job and repaired the grass where the cement truck had left depressions on the lawn. Highly recommended and we will hopefully work with them again.

After many months of trying to hire a contractor to repair my sinking front steps,I finally gave up-frustrated with the no call backs,no show ups.One contractor said I could do it myself by hiring heavy equipment,order the fill and compact it myself!.I finally called Home Advisor and was promptly sent to Gilroy Northeast.John Gilroy came the next day,gave me a realistic plan for the repair and a schedule date to start.The job was completed in a timely manner by a professional,competent team to my complete satisfaction. We could not have asked for a better company than Gilroy Northeast to put down a pad for our shed. When they said they would be there, they were there, and that says a lot. In addition the work done was great. We will be using them in the future if the need arises and I would definitely recommend them

Very professional company. The owner (John Gilroy) and his workmen are very attentive and considerate of the homeowners needs and requests, they take pride in and care about the quality of the work they perform. John discovered an issue with our downspout returns (not below the frost layer) which could have negatively impacted the work he was doing. John brought this issue to our attention immediately, and recommended an appropriate solution (which we accepted) before continuing with our project. Gilroy has become our "go to" company. We contact them first, for opinions and recommendations on other projects.

Gilroy Northeast demolished a barn on my property. John Gilroy did the estimate, and the company performed everything exactly as agreed. They were very responsive to e-mail and telephone communications. The man who did most of the work (Charlie) was first rate.....a real asset to the company. He was a hard worker who was very thorough in his task. The office staff, Lois and Sue, were a pleasure to deal with. I would highly recommend Gilroy Northeast. If I could give 10 stars, I would! Thanks for an outstanding job!

Very Good experience. They contacted us promptly and began and completed job in a timely manner. The project was made more difficult than it should have been as Gilroy had to redo a portion of the job started by another contractor who failed to perform as contracted and then basically walked away the job.

John Gilroy was very personable and knowledgeable. He took his time explaining the process to my wife and I and he answered all of our questions and he was not rushing us like other contractors that we have gotten estimates from. We also liked the fact that he had an office not just a cell phone where you can come and meet to discuss your project. We felt confident with his staff and his work, and our front yard came out great.

I rate the performance of Gilroy Northeast as truly Outstanding. All work was completed to the highest standards and in-line with the agreed scope of work. John and Lois Gilroy exceeded my expectations at every phase of the project and ensured that all work is done to the highest professional standard and with strict adherence to environmental and regulatory requirements. John leads the work in the field while Lois actively communicates with clients keeping them informed and effectively coordinates all required permits and inspections. The work that was done included the demolition of a residence, a large barn and multiple outbuildings. Great care was taken to protect the stream on the property from any sediment runoff and was all work professionally coordinated with the appropriate environment authority. I highly recommend Gilroy Northeast and would be happy to serve as a reference for anyone considering their services.

They did excellent work that came in on time and in budget. They were very good about communicating what was going on, expaining what made up the quote, and asking for clarifications when they were not sure about what I wanted. Highly recommended. Make sure you are really ready to go and know exactly what you want when you hire them, because they like to get everything scheduled, put in a contract, and completed quickly.

Beautiful job, professional people, started/finished ahead of initial timing estimate. All good things! Our need was to re-grade our backyard to direct water away from the house (a problem intensified lately with an extreme increase in the rainfall we receive). Gilroy NE laid out a plan with price-itemized options including making the space more useable. The job was done a couple months ago and since then, we've had lots of rain -- but none sitting against the house foundation. Yea, success! Plus, the new patio out back is now my favorite place to be.

Exceptional workmanship and customer service. Charlie's paver work is outstanding. Great care and attention to detail resulted in a beautiful walkway. Jon and Lois delivered excellent customer service by working with township and by answering all of my questions and addressing concerns. There was never a delay in follow-up. If you want quality work and ecellent customer service without being oversold and overwhelmed - then Gilroy should be your choice. I met with at least 8 companies before selecting Gilroy am we are happy with our choice. I would definitely reccomend.
