We moved to the area last summer and our yard was in desperate need of a makeover. Stuart is incredibly knowledgeable about all things landscaping - he was able to give us lawn care advice for our bald spots, help us learn how to maximize the trees and plants we already had, and also design a beautiful mix of new plants and flowers for our front foundation area and large island on the front lawn. He is friendly and easy to work with, listened to our flower color and plant preferences, and offered additional suggestions from his own expertise. His team was very efficient on the day of the landscape. We plan to use Stuart again when we landscape our backyard.

I had a great experience working with Stuard! I appreciate that he came in Saturday to do this project. It was a lot of work and the price was affordable. My front yard looks so beautiful with all the plants and shrubs! Thanks to Glasscapes, I finally have my dream garden.

The job looked beautiful until it rained; standing water was the original issue and after the rain the standing water that was suppose to be corrected had merely shifted from one point to another. When I contacted them and advised them of the issue they indicated that for another $1576.00 we could totally eliminate the issue with the standing water. Both my wife and I were lead to believe that paying the original $5700.00 would solve the problem and we are not at all happy with having to pay additional money which was paid to correct the problem initially.
Response by Glasscapes, Inc.: THERE IS NO STANDING WATER ON DAVE'S LANDSCAPE!!! 04/15 an inch of rain fell in a few hours. 7am 04/16 no standing water and the ground was firm not muddy! 04/22-0423 had "record breaking rain fall" (Fox5 Storm Center.) 3 HOURS after last rainfall I checked, filmed and photographed Dave's back yard. THERE WAS NO STANDING WATER, RUNNING WATER OR MUDDY SOIL!!! Dave is not even asking for replacement of any plant or material installed under our contract. He wants new work which has only cosmetic utility. All the details follow below. Dave's yard is bowl shaped. He complained that rain pooled on the yard's bottom for days after heavy rains killing his grass and turning the soil to unwalkable mud. I recommended grading to raise the bottom of the lawn and installing channel drains to pipe off the rain runoff. Dave refused to consider these and insisted I estimate his solution. I carefully (and repeatedly) explained no plan is perfect, and all are a series of gains and losses. His plan's loss was large amounts of runoff would flow across his bottom of the lawn during heavy rains(because he was neither grading or installing the channel drains.) The gains of using 11 tons of stone and many plants was great beauty and the PROBABLITY that the runoff would drain rather than stand. Dave said he understood and accepted the trade off. He accepted the contract which simply listed the plants and materials to be installed for the stated the payment amount with plant warranty. The contact did not mention let alone guarantee a drainage result. We did include $500.00 of free plants not mentioned in the contract. Dave was delighted with the results! I returned to repair a cracked irrigation pipe. There were two rainy weeks without a word after. An inch of rain fell in a few hours 04/14-04/15. Dave complained about drainage in an email. I came out Sunday 04/15 to see and meet. The rain water was not standing. It was pouring off Dave's lawn into a dry creek bed we had constructed. I told him he could make the run off drain faster by grading the lowest part of his lawn until it was no longer the lowest. I never said "totally eliminate the issue"(no problem is ever totally eliminated.) I advised him to wait and see how fast the lawn drained. I returned Monday at 7am. There was no standing water and no mud. Dave repeatedly asked " what the cost would be" and " when can we get this completed." I wedged his estimate for new work and start date in front of many other people. He was furious! Seems he didn't what to pay for the new work he requested. 04/22-04/22 we had "record breaking rain fall" (Fox5 Storm Center.) Dave sent me a threatening text at 9am. Three hours after the last rainfall (4pm) I checked Dave's lawn and took pictures. There was no standing water, no flowing water, no water insight anywhere! The ground was firm, not muddy. This is exactly the result Dave requested! TOTAL SUCCESS !!!!

We didn't have an idea what to do, but to call a professional. Stuart came out, took pictures and had an estimate that same night. 150 plants and stacked stone. The plants are beautiful and we were not even thinking of stacked stone. We when from a desert to a oasis. We are so pleased, we have another project for the company. This was an outstanding job. Call Glassscapes first, before any one else. Thank you.

I almost cried tears of joy when I first saw the finished project. Stuart was proffesional and helpful from the beginning with determining which plants meet my specifications for low maintenance on a very sloped area all the way through letting us know how to care for our landscaping for years to come.
