Absolutely do not use these guys. They behave in a criminal way bait and switch doubling the price when they final deliver the furniture. Plus, damage done to goods, they take no responsibility using their calculation on their guarantee works out to be $1 per damaged piece.

Price quoted more than doubled almost tripled, I had to call my lawyer to get the final unloading done and he suggested calling the police as they held hostage our stuff, blamed me , never ever use this company in my opinion

We have been charged over $23,000 to have them pack everything, three trucks used and deliver to our new home, two of the three trucks have delivered furniture that was broken and scratched, they delivered a bad but no mattress, chairs but no table. We have called many times to get status updates and they say they will check and call us back but never do. It is been over 10 weeks without our property, they sent us a text saying the trucks will be there tomorrow but never showed up, when we called they said it was in route and the driver will call us in the next 10 minutes but no one calls. They have stopped answering our calls so we have to use phones that they do not know the numbers of but it is the same thing they will check and call back but do not. We have sent emails, text and phone calls and still no answer about when they will deliver our furniture.

This moving company did a really great job. Everyone was easy to work with and communication was clear. The crew that did my packing and loading was the same crew that unloaded my things at my new place. They did an exceptional job of packing and protecting all of my items. They were polite, professional, and very hard working. They took care to protect the carpet during loading and unloading.

When they showed up at my house, they packed the truck inefficiently (it was almost full) and I received a bill for almost double the quoted amount. After almost three weeks, my furniture and boxes were delivered to our new place in TX and the truck showed up packed really well and only 1/2 full. A couple of items were broken. I am now trying to get reimbursed on paying too much for the move. I am not confident that I will be successful. Be warned that the quote means nothing and they will not unload your furniture until they are paid in full. Very disappointing experience!!!!

Big issue with communication with these people. My moving date ended up being delayed over 24 hours, and they did not reach out to me about it until over 6 hours past my original scheduled moving window. I did try contacting them during this period of time, but all I was able to get was a series of automated menus which ultimately sent me to someone's answering machine. I understand that delays can happen, but I did not appreciate being kept in the dark about the process.

Global moved an antique dish cabinet and 7 boxes of fragile pottery and porcelain cross country. The delivery time schedule was not an issue. I only wanted the cabinet to arrive in one piece and expected some broken pieces, but everything arrived in perfect shape. They did a super job of protecting my belongings.

FAST DELIVERY OF ITEMS INTO THE HOME, ALTHOUGH THEY LEFT EARLY AND DID NOT FINISH CONSTRUCTING BEDS OR UNPACKING BOXES. THEY BEGAN ASKING FOR A TIP OR THEY WOULD STOP WORKING OR UPCHARGE ME. I HAD TO SHOW THEM THE CONTRACT SEVERAL TIMES FOR THEM TO COMPLETE THEIR SIGNED AGREED WORK. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. THANKFULLY I DIDN'T GET ROPED INTO THEIR EXTORTION OF MORE MONEY OR NO MORE WORK. LIMITED ENGLISH, RARE ABD DELAYED FOLLOW-UP, EXTORTION, THEIR STATEMENT "YOU SHOULD BE HAPPY YOU DON'T LIVE IN CHICAGO OR NYC", AND WHAT IS LIKELY SWEARING TO ME IN RUSSIAN FOR A FORCED (EXTORTION) TIP IS NOT A BUSINESS. They are holding propery hostage until paid in full, they are not good communicators. They were paid and still are not communicating. They are threatening to move our furniture to their storage in LA and charge us even more fees for unloading and for storage, They also overcharged us over $6846.50

The pickup and care of furniture were very well done on the initial move. Either from the 10-day storage or the delivery portion, two pieces of furniture were damaged. However, the most serious concern was that the driver was sent alone to receiving destination to unload! He brought no help. The driver reported that there was no one for the company to send with him to assist. Further that no one wanted to work. The driver literally stated: I will go down to the street and see if I can find a couple of guys and pay them to help me unload. The end result was I myself had to ask two people whom I barely knew with no experience, to help unload.. this included a PIANO and large pieces of furniture requiring two experienced movers. This is unacceptable. I reported this to the company as it was occurring. Admittedly, I was very angry at the time and yelled a lot. The company never called back as they promised with any kind of compensation or explanation. ..or damage claim form.

I would give 0 stars for my experience if I could. I'm just going to list the facts of my experience and you can decide for yourself if you want to work with them. They may try to deny this is real so I'll provide a reference number. It was: B3493792. I needed to move from MI to CA. I called them on 8/29 and needed my stuff in CA by 9/17. Jason Bradley was the sales guy and assured me they could do the job and arrive on or around 9/17. He scheduled for my stuff to be picked up on 9/4 and all seemed well. He then called back and said I needed an inventory list. The stuff was in a storage unit so i sent photos and texts to him and then proceeded to list off the contents. He assured me that my storage space was well under the size limit so it would be fine. The quote was $4380 for loading, some boxes and tape (they charged $400 for this), a stair fee of $75 because I had more than 7 stairs, driving, gas, and unloading. The moving team came as planned and loaded my stuff. The lead guy, I forget his name but I think it was Nurbek convinced me that I had too much stuff and to "tip him well" so that he wouldn't charge me. He wanted $90 per guy (there were 3 of them) even though they were just moving 500 cubed ft of packed stuff from a storage unit into the truck and the limit was 600 cubed ft according to Jason. Suspicious, but these guys now had my stuff so i didn't want to give them a reason to damage or lose it... it's stuff that means a lot to me. A week later I get a call late Friday night from "nick" saying hi, we're about to arrive at your place. Remember, this is a week before I arrive to receive the stuff and Jason said this would not be an issue. I call Jason, I text Jason, I leave voicemails...never got an answer from him to this day. Nick the driver informs me it's a "misdelivery" and will cost me $600 plus a storage fee of I think $20/ day. Luckily the storage was in LA and I was moving to San Diego so not far. Every day for the next week I call, leave voicemails and try to talk to a human who can give me a date of when my stuff can be redelivered. Customer service tells me to call Doug Parker, the ops guy, so I call him and only get texts back like "you must be available for delivery any day/ time after your stated FAD date" we don't offer boutique delivery times."Doug refuses to pick up the phone and talk to me. Fast froward to 9/17. I arrive at my new apartment and I sleep on the floor the first night. There is still no response from Global Moving and I start my new job on Monday so I literally only have the weekend to receive my stuff. I remember that I have the phone number of the moving guy "Nick" who "mis-delivered my stuff" and text him explaining the situation. He responds immediately that he will deliver my stuff the next morning. Sure enough, Dennis from Best Quality movers shows up the next morning and singlehandedly moves my stuff up a flight of stairs. All my stuff is here and nothing seems to be missing but the totes are all cracked and my metal cabinet has been dented. I don't know whether this was Dennis and Nick's team's fault or the pick-up team's fault because two different teams picked up my stuff and delivered it. The total price with mis-delivery, storage, and tips added, ended up being about $5500. I'll let you decide what you want to do, but I personally would never hire Global Moving LLC again. I'd probably call Nick at Best Quality, personally. They actually answer the phone, work with you to find a time that fits your schedule, and provide customer service. Not to mention they actually do the hard work of moving. It's a shame that Global Moving keeps getting away with this.

Horrible! They showed up and jacked the price even though we told them our furniture was oversized and heavy. Was told by Isaac that they used the best software and it would be right. That none of his shipments have ever been wrong. Well not our shipment. Off by 700 sq ft! The loading crew showed up late and by the time they started the work day was over and they left. Came back the next day and it took them all day. All they did was argue with each and tell me that they were creating their own moving company and asking if we knew of anyone moving. It took well over the 7 day delivery time to delivery our stuff, more like a 36 day delivery. Our stuff was in storage so long it smelled. It was obvious that the crew in Indiana threw our boxes around as all were crushed. We have a leather chaise that they wrapped in plastic and due to the heat it is now peeling apart. Many items gouged from how it was packed and hardwood furniture actually smashed. Now we are waiting over 2 months for their claims company to get back to us. The whole time calling and no one answers or gets back to you. Especially Christie the customer service manager in North Carolina. Doug Parker in Chicago who was supposed to be in charge of our shipment rarely returned phone calls. This was the worst moving experience ever. There were only 2 redeeming people in the whole company. Cynthia Robinson and Mike our driver that finally brought our stuff to us. I guess Mike doesn?t count as he is hired from outside. So, just Cynthia! I will never use them again!

Horrible customer service and communication. Potential customers need to check BBB complaints for company before proceeding. Interstate move set up with Global Moving LLC for items from NC to MD. Entire experience ha been a bait and switch scheme. Initial advisor quoted amount half what final cost ended up as. Customer service specialize who confirmed inventory did the same thing when all items were disclosed before pickup. We went item by item with what was being picked up, down to lamps and number of boxes, yet, the price was still double once movers showed up with 1 day advanced notice. Pickup occurred 11/16/2021 and as of 12/4/21, there is still no ETA on when furniture will be delivered. We have called manager Christie Strong, Operations Specialist, Doug Parker, dozens of times as well as sent emails with no responses over past couple of weeks. Customer service told us on 11/30/21 that items were to be loaded Friday 12/3 and delivered over weekend. We have tried to confirm this over phone and email many times with no answer or response. Doug finally responded to email on 12/3 stating items were being loaded 12/3 and that we would receive confirmation once 100% loaded. At 5pm on 12/3, we still had not heard anything. Doug responded to an email that **he had not heard anything differently from dispatch** regarding the information we were told on 11/30 not still being the case. It is now 3pm on Saturday, 12/4, and still no email or call from Global Moving LLC with when we can expect furniture. We just want the furniture delivered as this company has already been paid around $2500 and has stopped all communication with ETA for furniture delivery.

They were deceptive about the timing of the arrival of our belongings. They told us repeatedly 17 business days, we paid in full and had our stuff loaded, then we were told it could be 30 business days. Trying to get a hold of anyone for an update was nearly impossible. We were hung up on by a rude customer service employee. The moving crew asked me to Venmo them more money after our stuff was in the truck. Then, they said they would give us the $400 back only if we signed an agreement to take down a bad review. Oh, and also, the movers took dollies from me.

I would never have agreed to this company if I knew this. They damaged so much of my furniture!! The salesman agreed to things to get the deal. I should have gone with another company. This was a horrible experience. Customer service was available and very responsive before the move, but after they collected our stuff, we could not get anyone on the phone or over email. They did not deliver our things for over a month. We were a day or two away from contacting the police to file a report when they finally called with a delivery date. The mover was rude and threatened to leave when we questioned the payment. All around awful experience. Please do not recommend them to anyone.

Their customer service is terrible. They do not tell you when things will be delivered or in accord with condo rules that they were told. They do not care about their customers or their belongings. They delivered 2 months from loading, then left one-third of our items in a parking garage where one item weighed is about 300 lbs and 5x6x7. We had to move them all ourselves. They did not place the furniture where wanted. One key item was missing, they delivered a mattress that was not mine and would not take it, and about 3 lamps were totally broken as was 1/3 of all fragile items all of which they packed.

Absolute WORST moving experience ever. When my items were packed, no picture frame was packed. Every single pane of glass was shattered. Heirloom baskets which were told to the crew were very valuable, were thrown into a box with wrought iron and destroyed. Shelving was broken, china serving dishes werent wrapped and totally destroyed. Anything that could be harmed, was. Biggest mistake of my life using Global Moving. They destroyed my personal items and made my move across the country one of the worst experiences of my life. Never again will I even Global Moving. NEVER!

Total SCAM! After they packed up my things, which I saw them TOSSING onto the truck, they charge me another $2600 for overage. Then when I had to change the delivery date due to a closing issue, they charged me another $7000 for storage and redelivery fees! This after I was reassured that I had 30 days of free storage! They said that only applied if I had paid in full prior to delivery--which is nowhere in the contract. They would NOT unload my belongings until I paid the extra. Customer service was unresponsive and when I did find someone he was rude, aggressive, and hung up on me. I cannot say enough this company is running!

We do our best to provide accurate and thorough estimates, however, pricing is adjusted based on the exact weight or volume fo the shipment and services provided. As for the fees associated with your change in delivery date, your household goods had already been dispatched out and were currently in route to the delivery destination at the time you informed us of the change in plans. This is not a fee we impose for the sake of making profits, but to merely cover the expenses incurred with such schedule changes and additional handling of household goods. FREE storage is offered for any customer, but it is not interchangeable. If a customer advises they are ready for delivery as you advised, the customer is then pulled from storage and delivery plans made."
