BEWARE CON ARTIST. On August 20th I had an appointment set to finish the work. I waited till the time dan was suppose to arrive and never got a call. I called him and he didn't even remember me or having an appointment. He said he would call back never did and blocked my number. I paid 1500 for him to spray and connect my bathroom exhaust fan to outside never showed up to finish project. Insult to injury he STOLE 50 dollars from me because he didn't have change and didn't zelle me like he said he's would. This man goes to your house and pretends he's a hard worker don't give him your business he doesn't deserve your hard earned money. If you did and he played you dirty as well submit a complaint to BBB, attorney general, and ftc as I did.

losing adventures of Daniel Wilnau/Global Restoration Services, this thief spent over 400.00 to sue me in McHenry Township, see Court Case, 2024SC001266 on June 26, 2024 for $9,999.99. This was for alleged defamation & lost wages. Not only did Conman Dan lose this frivolous case, but the Judge laughed at him & his case was thrown out of court. This started when Conman Dan decided to rip off my family on May 27, 2000, by stealing 2k, & not performing agreed upon work. He has not done well against me. 1) My efforts kicked him off Home Advisor as he is listed permanently: "Out of the Network." 2) I have had over 40 people at last count thanking me for not hiring him. 3) A Grayslake lady took him to Arbitration on my advice & beat him. He was still on Home Advisor so he had to pay her money. His behaivor was so menacing when he lost, a Grayslake Police Report was filed for threatening her, see Grayslake Police Report 21-1920. 3) Conman Daniel Wilnau cannot control his temper & has called has me twice threatening to harm me. See Park Ridge Police Reports: 23-4601 & 21-24325. 4) Conman Daniel Wilnau is on a "Special Watchlist," with IL Law Enforcement since the Highland Park Tragedy, since he solicits business to enter people's homes. Your best course of action is to stay away from trouble by not hiring Conman Daniel Wilnau. Don't be fooled by his 5 Star Ratings. Read the .50 to 1.0 Ratings in YELP, GOOGLE, REVDEX, Home Advisor, & BBB. U will notice a common pattern of thievery. He knows police will not investigate under 5k, & he has gone Bankrupt (Public record) in 2016, & has no assets u can sue for.

Beware: As so many have already stated, I also experienced problems with the mold returning. The warranty is worthless as Dan will set an appointment and then never show. Then he just stops responding. The bathrooms were supposed to be vented to the outside and my handyman said that it was never done and so the mold just came right back. 2K down the drain. Sadly, many of us have had the same experience and Dan's response is to call everyone a liar. I don't know how he is still in business.

DO NOT HIRE HIM! He is a CON ARTIST. He came to to our house in 2020 for mold remediation. He performed mold remediation, charging $985, which seemed high for level of mold remediation necessary and the small amount of time he was actually up there spraying, but it came with a 25 year warranty, which was nice. We had returning mold recently in January of 2024, and I made several attempts to have him come back out to fulfill the warranty. He set up an appointment and never showed up. I had to contact him to find out why he didn't show, and he said he was busy with another emergency flooding job and had poor cell reception. Okay. He asked when he could come out, and I said any day this week. No response. After several calls, voicemails and texts to him over the following week, he never replied to any of it or gave me a call back. He ghosted me. I have not heard back since. I have filed a claim with the BBB, but at this point, I don't think I'll be hearing from him again.

Dan is a crook not to be trusted. His 25 year warranty is worthless because he will not honor it. He was supposed to get rid of mold in my parent's home but it t was back in less than a year. When he realized I was calling to have him do warranty work, he hung up the phone and never answered or returned my calls again. If he's done this to you, I encourage you to report him to the IL Attorney General and Federal Trade Commission and Better Business Bureau. Defrauding an elderly person in IL carries significant penalties including prison. Dan, Global Restoration, and Illinois Emergency Home Services should all be put out of business.

Dan from Global Restoration services stole $695 from our family. He was hired to mitigate mold in our attic as well as do air quality testing. Our 3 year old son tested positive for mycotoxins so we needed the results to help with a detox plan. Dan was aware of the need for these results. He took our money but never gave us the results. He has ignored all our calls, texts and emails. We involved the police where he admitted he had our results and was paid in full. I have asked for a refund through email which he has ignored so we are moving forward with legal action. He is complete con artist. Please do your research.

Owner was super friendly

Said he would vent our bathroom exhaust fan to the outside. The work he did, did not vent the fan to the outside. Scheduled a time for him to come and fix the issue. He did not show up. We could only leave a message. He would not call us back. Never got another response from him. I would NOT recommend it.

Daniel was so professional and helpful from the first phone call. He came out and told us what is the problem and how is he going to fix it . He was very punctual (he arrived even before time) knowledgeable and informative. He patiently answered all our questions. When he arrived day of the treatment he started work right away and was finished very quickly. Throughout all his work he was sending us pictures and video of his work. At the end he went over the warranty with us which was so reassuring. I would highly recommend Daniel for his outstanding professionalism .

Dan was awesome! He went above and beyond! Even cleared out some junk from my attic that was left behind from the previous owner and then treated a spot on the outside of the house too! Took the time to explain the warranty and every other benefit that comes with his services. Highly recommend!

Warranty means nothing. It is amazing that this company is on. I will not be using this site again. Dan Wilnau took my money and ran. Did not finish the job and blocked my calls.

Daniel was very friendly and personable and knowledgeable. Communicated in away we could understand what was needed and pricing was fair. He completed the job the same day and explained the warranty. We are very pleased with the service he provided

Dan appears professional, makes promises that are not met. Provided verbal quotes and nothing in writing upfront. This is todayâ s experience. He charged me 900 dollars for a one square foot mold removal and some bathroom mold removal.. Yes, he did remove the dry wall, but I had told him before he started the work that I needed him to do restoration as well and not leave a gaping hole. I am left with a gaping hole on the wall. He promised that everything would be done with that 900-950 at first. Then the story changed and he said 100 for dry wall replacement and 400 ish for painting the entire ceiling so in all 1400. He left after he said I needed to get the plumber in and that was all good and done by another company. He said he would come back, fix the dry wall and have the painting done. Next thing, he does a 360 degree and plugs another guy in the picture who quotes double what Dan said. The. He texts me me with numbers that are very different from his verbal quotes. Whatever he used in the house is giving me headache. It is a rip off!! Think before hiring him.
