Go Green Air, Ltd.

DO NOT TRUST. I hired go green to take a look at my split level central air system. The 2nd floor was blowing cold but the first floor was about 5 degrees hotter....after spending 2 hours with his assistant fiddling with the outside unit , Justin charged me over $600 and told me it "should cool down in a few hours"....the Central air unit was completely broken by the time they left and my home heated up to over 80 degrees overnight (hotter than outside). Our newborn and my wife barely slept through the night...it's now over 85+ degrees with my Central air on and we'll be staying in hotel....we need to hire another company to actually do the work CORRECTLY....Justin has yet to return any calls. Between the repair fees and accommodations I've lost over $800 by trusting Justin and Go Green Air. They also backed into my neighbors wall on the way out...Complete nightmare, DO NOT TAKE THE RISK with Go Green Air.

Justin and his team gets the job done and he is knowledgeable and responsive over the holidays. Will hire again.

I hired Justin to put in an attic central air conditioner It leaked and caused spots on the ceiling He sent out his guy said a cap was lose. That night my ceiling Fell down from the water Sent out the guy again now said leaves were clogging cleaned gutters blew out lines you guessed it other side of ceiling now fell down! Sent out another guy said he needed to put in a drain Still leaked!!!! Called another company The unit was not installed properly a number of issues including not making electric up to code I have most of my ceiling gone a big mess and a big bill to FIX the air conditioning installation that he did wrong Do not use him!!! He refuses to pay or take responsibility for this not an honorable person

As a general contractor in NYC I use a lot of subcontractors for my business. I hired Go Green Air to supply and install a Mitsubishi split air system in my apartment in NYC. Justin's company was one of the worst subcontractors I've ever used! It was similar to having the Tasmanian devil working in your home. Everything that they installed was done as fast as possible which wouldn't be so bad except for the fact when you work that fast there is no way that the work can be done properly. The AC and electrical lines installed on the exterior wall of our building were bolted onto the wall so crooked and unleveled that the buildings super asked to remove and reinstall properly-straight. All of the insulation on the copper refrigerant lines on the exterior connected to the air compressor was ripped off. I had to ask Justin to add some insulation over top of what was installed. From the exterior, the installation looked older than the 10 year old system that was installed next door. It was a constant battle with him. The first summer we tried using the system I had to call him several times to tell him the system wasn't working properly. He came or sent his guys 5-6 times to try to set the thermostats so that they worked properly. The thermostats turned the system off after 3 hours. There was constant complaints about needing to come back and his text messages to me and my wife were rude and unprofessional and clearly he was drinking when they were sent. Finally at the end of the summer he finally had one of his guys able to set the thermostats so that the system worked properly. BUT as soon as it did work, we started having water leaking from our ceiling, into the wall and damaging our wood floors. He did come to repair his shoddy work, as the leak was caused from an improper seal on a coupling joint in the copper drain line in the ceiling. When I told him I would back charge him for the damage caused his reply was that the water was caused from a screw penetrating the copper tube. IMPOSSIBLE since I have pictures showing the water leaking from the improperly installed coupling and also that the copper line is 4-5" above the sheetrock. I spent $15,000 on a system that I couldn't use for the entire first summer. The worst part if that isn't bad enough was that we had a newborn baby on April 10 and we couldn't keep the temperature constant in his room. I'm now in the process of trying to collect the money from his company for the damage caused from the leaking pipe. If not paid then will take legal action. How anyone can write a positive review is beyond me DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!!!!!

I feel this company is terrible. In my opinion, the owner, Justin, was very unprofessional and UNRELIABLE. He promised to help me fix an air conditioner at my apartment and did not deliver. He kept stalling but continuing to promise me that he would send a team to do the job and then kept rescheduling. This was all during 90 degree weather and I was suffering. The day before he was supposed to come, he wrote me and told me that he couldn't make it and the "job was not worth his time" because he didn't want to do the paperwork to submit the insurance requirements for my building. This was the last straw and I finally fired them and hired someone else. I don't recommend hiring them unless you want a whole bunch of grief. I'd given them negative stars if I could.

Prompt and knowledgeable. Will use them for AC maintenance and any repairs from now on.

Justin was fast to pick up or return calls, very accommodating and did a fine job -- they bent the AC cover when they reinstalled it so I took off 1.5 stars for that. I will have to tweak it a bit to get it back into shape. Other than that, the service was great. I would definitely hire him again, just have him move a bit more slowly putting things back.

Justin came up with great solutions to tricky problems, and figured out a way to install the units in my closets, with grilled vents, rather than hanging the ugly units on the bedroom walls. He also saved money by hauling the condensers up to the roof with a pulley, rather than getting a crane and permits. His pricing was very fair, and competitive and he is a super nice guy. The crew needs to pay more attention to clean-up and protecting surfaces--carpets, walls-- in a residential space. I docked half a star for that.

Work was a little rushed but they got the job done.

Justin from Go Green was on the phone with me first thing in the morning following my post here the night before. He thought out some nifty solutions to my HVAC issues, came prepared with his plan and worked very efficiently. Took satisfaction in saving me $. Recommend.

They were normal reasonable experienced guys who really helped out in a pinch.

These guys did a great job cleaning and repairing my Central AC unit. And the price they charged was very reasonable.

Just Cooling ... punctual, priced competitively, and provided good service. Left a bit of a mess, but that is always expected in this type of repair. Boilers are notoriously dirty! Will call on them again for future boiler servicing needs.
