Godby painting

His crew walked off on him, his work is peeling off, he spilled paint on my wood floors. Nick came late (if at all some days) and did not do the work he promised. I had to basically fire him and pay him less than the agreed amount to get him out of my home. Some of HIS workers walked off with paint and I had to buy more. He also didnâ  t buy or use the right type for the project.

Responded same day to my request and scheduled an appointment within two days. Nick came and gave me a fair estimate for the work that needed to be done. The crew that came despite the rainy weather got the deck cleaned and painted within a reasonable time. They were nice and pleasant to work with but best of all they were neat and everything was swept and clean when they left. I would hire Godby Painting again.

Nick was great to work with. Very reasonable prices. His crew was considerate and thorough. My house looks like new! Highly recommend this company.

Nick was very nice, his price was reasonable, however after hired, he brought his guys and left them with instructions. After they were done and Nick came back for the inspection, he pointed out a problem in the front if the house. His guys hadn't caulk an area before painting. Later i found problems in the back. They did the painting on March 15th, and today is Apr 30th, and i am still waiting for him to send his guys to come back to fix the problems. I have all his messages with his promises but he never followed it up. Do not pay him fully until everything is done. I am very disappointed. He was talking so proudly about his work ethics and quality of his work when he came to give me the estimate.

Just had my home exterior painted by Godby painting and I am totally satisfied with the final results. It is a quality job that was done when promised. I would highly recommend Nick and his crew and plan on using them again.

Nick and his crew are top notch! The job began very quickly after initially meeting with Nick (owner). The interior painting is just what we wanted and our back deck looks new. I would not hesitate to recommend Godby Painting to my family and friends.

Nick and his crew did a fine job on the inside of our home. We will call them again when we're ready to paint the outside.

It was supposed to be done in two days. It took 4 days. Sometimes it was one guy working 10 to 12 hours, not 8-5 as promised. The contractor's mother was present and didn't provide much help. The quality of the job was not as it should be; paint lines were showing. At the end of the job, it was late at night, and I should have waited until the next day. We paid him a check. Later we noticed several places where the paint was done improperly.

poor, inexperienced painters, did not properly protect surrounding areas from paint, did not properly prep walls, ceilings, or woodwork, left light fixtures and can light hanging out of ceilings, missed some areas to paint, i.e.: tops of doors and tops of other wood trim, did not cut into door frames properly in the master bedroom, left wide swaths of semi-gloss paint on eggshell walls, got paint on cabinets, and appliances, left large areas of old paint showing through newly painted walls, painted a window in semi-closed position, the window is now stuck and cannot be closed, painters were not properly supervised., had to hire a new painter to fix all problem areas. I do not recommend

They did a very nice job, I am very pleased.

Godby Painting did the exterior trim and siding of our house. Their work was fantastic. Both Nick and his team were extremely pleasant to work with. The team did a walkthrough with us before the job was complete and Nick came by and did a final walkthrough as well. They even came back to touch up a few spots we noticed a few days later. I would highly recommend Godby Painting for your home painting projects.

Unfortunately, I had a very bad experience with the exterior painting of my house. There were three different crews sent to this project. The first crew totally messed up, pressure washed and then painted three hours later. Obviously, paint peeled. To Nicks credit, he fired that crew and sent an experienced painter who did an excellent job with what part he did. However, he quit showing up, so another crew was sent and he did a good job with painting. My problem with the job was the lack of job preparation, caulking, and attention to detail. To Nicks credit, he was not happy with the way the job went and tried to make it right.

Did good work, and cleaned up everything when done. I recommend.

They did a great job! Our foundation and porch looks amazing and they completed the job quickly. We will have them back to paint the inside when we are ready.

Since good contractors apparently are in high demand, it took some doing to get our exterior housepainting project started. But the work was done quickly and thoroughly in two days by the Godby Painting crew, and our house now has a fresh, new look.

The father and son were very good workers. They stayed with the job until they got everything done. I would offer them the job.

The company was able to schedule the work in a very timely manner for my needs. Wall prep and painting were very nicely done. We were very pleased with the results. The owner was always prompt in returning my phone calls and emails as we worked out the logistics of scheduling and executing the work.

They are very careful about what they are doing. First, they repaired and then they painted.
