The project ran over budget primarily due to my rear porch having much more extensive damage than first thought (discovered when removing the old outdoor carpet - the floor sheathing was in very poor shape) and there was a lot less that could be salvaged. It had been agreed to install indoor vinyl floor tile on the new sheathing - and though it looked very nice the edges of some of that tile kept coming loose to where a few corners got chipped while moving chairs around. After another meeting, it was agreed that the tile would be replaced with new outdoor carpet and that was done to my satisfaction. The porch is very airy and light now.

They built and installed a beautiful fence that is not found from local dealers. It was custom built. They were a pleasure to deal with and I would certainly recommend them to friends and family.

We used Goldstar to rpelace a slate roof with a tar shingled roof. Goldstar did very good and thorough work for a very competitive price. The owner, Jimmy, is very pleasant to deal with and very focused on customer satisfaction. I will have them quote future work.

We are more than happy with Gold Star Construction. The rates were very reasonable and the work was finished quickly, even in bad weather. Jimmy came out and gave us an estimate and began work tree days later. They did more work than we had agreed on, at no extra cost. We had asked for a wall to be built in our basement, they gave us the wall and put in a door also.They kept us informed of what was going on and made improvements to our original plans at a minimal cost. ( i.e. adding a railing to our stairs and replacing a downspout) Jimmy and his workers were very pleasant and professional. We will definitely be calling them in the future.

We are doing the dance of joy on our beautiful new deck. Bob and Bob did a wonderful job in creating this deck which we will surely enjoy for many long years. It is so well made you could park a car on it, but of course we will not do that as we would rather park ourselves on it. Jimmy, the boss-man, told us just how everything was going to be, and it was. Yay!

I have called the owner several times and he has not respond to my telephone calls. My roof is still leaking and nothing is being done about this problem. The roof has been on my home for less than 2 months.

"this is not true! we gave him an A#1 Roof he still owe us the balnce on his roof$3500.oo, we are sueing him, therfore he wrote this rating just to hurt us.... check all of our rating and you will see that most if not all of our customer fully pleased with us and our workmenship, we are the old fassion one, we do it right no matter what, this person got an exclent roof......and more thank you for your understanding"
