I recently had new engineered hardwood floors installed by Mr. Truong @ Golden Gate Construction Company. Several other companies contacted me from ServiceMagic but didn't follow up. Mr. Truong came out for a site inspection the very next day and gave a really great quote within minutes. I was a bit nervous since he wrote everything down on pencil and and paper and didn't have a business card or any kind of 'corporate' process. I live in a tightly managed condo building so I was also concerned that it might be difficult for him to adhere to their specifications. Mr. Truong agreed to meet with the building manager before starting work and addressed all their concerns. I couldn't have been happier with the finished work. He did a beautiful job, he was cooperative, always punctual, tidy and clean, and very reasonable rates. My neighbors were so impressed they are going to hire him to do their floors too.
