My overall experience with Golden Isles Garage Doors was outstanding. He was timely on a weekday evening (was at my place within an hour and had the job complete in two hours). He was knowledgeable and ensured he was providing quality work and parts by being very thorough and explaining each step in the repair. He also ensured I was aware of the annual maintenance I should be doing on my garage door. I would recommend this company and hire them again if necessary, although I was left feeling pretty confident my garage door will be functional for quite a while.

I would recommend him to anyone that needs a garage door repaired. He was great and not real expensive like some other places are.

I actually contacted Golden Isles Garage Doors to make some repairs on my mothers garage door. He arrived on time and seemed to be very knowledgeable about garage doors in general, so I hired him. He was professional and personable and very fair in his pricing. He did an excellent job with the repairs. So much so that I hired him again to remove 2 garage door openers and install 2 new garage door openers at my house. I had already ordered the garage door openers but I wasn’t aware that I also needed an extension kit. He identified that right away and informed me that because my garage doors were 8 feet, I would need the kit. He told me to let him know when I received them. I received them 2 days I’ll call you later. and he arrived on time to do the installation. He worked efficiently and effectively. He pays attention to detail and shows that he cares about not only the job that he’s doing, but the property at which he’s doing it. All of these attributes are greatly appreciated! I also had him change out the metal rollers to the nylon ones and wow what a difference in the noise, or lack there of. I highly recommend Guido (Golden Isles Garage Doors) and I will be using him for any of my future garage door related needs. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! Oh yeah, just to show you the type of guy he is, he contacted me to let me know that I overpaid him for the job he did at my mothers house and that he would just subtract that amount from the bill for the work he was going to do at my house. I informed him that I didn’t over pay him. I just included a tip in the payment, but I appreciated that.

I had an antique garage door and opener system. He came the day after we made initial contact. He was prompt, courteous and professional. He inspected, cleaned and adjusted my system and it now works as designed. As I noted above my garage door is an old one that is ready for near term retirement. After seeing GI Garage Doors work ethic and professionalism I elected to have him replace our entire system. He had a quote for me within hours. He will do the installation in a few weeks. I have high expectations it will be a flawless installation. I will do an update after the install is complete. Update He has finished the installation and we are very pleased with the final product. It has a very pleasing appearance and works with remotes as well as with our car system (which he programmed). I would rate him as a very competent installer. BTW: he also got our old system to work so he has excellent trouble-shooting skills. I highly recommend him.

Mr. Valerio responded immediately by telephone to my request on a Friday afternoon and scheduled a visit for Saturday morning. He was prompt, courteous and quickly set about examining the damage to the door, rails and surrounding hardware. He provided me options and estimates on site and, upon approval, made complete repairs as requested. He then showed me all the items he had addressed. Obviously, the quick response, especially on a weekend, was serendipitous, but except for complete replacement of the door and surrounding hardware, Mr. Valerio comes to the job with all the tools and supplies needed to make most repairs. Highly recommend!
