    I have a 90 year old house, like all houses that old the foundation has settled in several areas. Received a bid from another company which was outrageously expensive. My contractor recommended Golden Retrofit (GR). Tom from GR came out and explained what they could do to level my house in great detail. Tom took calls and re-explained the same details to my husband and a friend. Their bid was less than half of what the other company proposed. I was little hesitant because of the different in prices between the two bids. Tom reassured me that they will not cut corners and everything would be done to code. I went with GR and they did indeed did a great job. They went above and beyond what they said they would do. The only complaint was that it took longer than the two weeks they suggested. The extra time required was needed to solve a problem caused at the time of the original construction of the house. I'm very happy with them and definitely will recommend them to my neighbors and friends. I highly recommend GR and Tom to anyone that lives in an older home that has a foundation that has settled.
