I compared several roofing companies and finally chose this one. One of the reasons was my neighbor down the street recommended them after her recent roof replacement. Bryan’s price was very reasonable and included all the wood replacement—no hidden fees at all. He’s professional and patient, always taking the time to explain things clearly with photos or drawings. His crew worked hard every day and made sure to clean up thoroughly before leaving, even using a magnetic tool to pick up any loose nails around the yard. I am happy to Recommend them.

Great to work with, did extra works outside roofing, install skylight, repaired and protected expoosed beam.

So I initially posted a review regarding my roof puddling water after the work was completed. Brian came back out and after consults and conversation of options he tore the roof off completely and it was completed correctly. Though a water test was done to check it, the real test will be when it rains. For now I’m happy. Thanks Golden West!!!

Hard working crew.

Our roof was in severely poor condition when we decided to have the roof replaced. We contacted Home Advisors and chose three contractors for free estimates. However, there was only one who stood out to us because he was very thorough and professional. We concluded that the company he represented was absolutely our best choice. We chose Golden West Roofing. Bryan kept his word to us per our mutual agreement and we are very pleased with everything he and his crew performed. We highly recommend Golden West Roofing to others without hesitation at all. Good job overall!

They are clean and the worst thing is worrying about the nails left behind in driveways. They were able to replace my roof on the main house, detached garage with patio in less than a week.

Bryan is very likable. The crew worked hard on days with 100+ temperatures! They started on time every day. I've done some remodeling in my youth and I watched the work and it went well. The roof looks better than it did before the work. His bid was quite a bit less than the others but I don't think that they could have done any more.

4/8/17 After a lot of disagreements, Bryan finally gave me a FULL REFUND for the installment of a flat roof on a shed.

They came out and stripped the old roof very quickly. I was having insulation work done after the new roof and asked them to put down plastic to catch most of the debris from the original shake and they still made a big mess that the insulation guys had to clean up. New roof looks good. Wouldve been a 5 rating but they did a poor job running a magnet over my lawn to pick up all the old nails, one of which my Mom stepped on and i had to take her to urgent care for a tetnus shot. I bought a magnet and picked up hundreds of nails hiding in my lawn and around my house.

Great and professional

I was very pleased with Golden West Roofing. I was really impressed with Bryan. He was very thorough with his estimate and was very concerned about giving me all the information about the roof they were going to install. He came everyday to check on the crew & made sure all was okay The one thing that I would like changed is the clean-up. It was okay, however if you want it done right, you have to do it yourself. I have been all around my home picking up pieces of old roofing & the large staples that were removed from the old roof. Bottom line....I would use them again and I will certainly recommend Bryan; I already have.

Bryan came to the appointment on time and was able to provide a competitive bid for re-roofing a portion of the property (it was only for an addition). Work was done quickly and has not had any leaks.

Dishonest!!!

I hired them in November they started work in February. The contractor come in the morning but did not supervise any of the work performed. The workers urinated in the driveway rather than ask to use bathroom then one worker walked inside the house to remove a extension cord I had plugged in for them while I was on the roof inspecting the work, did not ask if it was ok for him to enter the house. They stopped work an hour and a half prior to contractor showing up then I was told they would return two days later to finish the work, on the final day it took 45 minutes to finish the job,the workers left with out telling me they were done and the job was finished they did leave lots of extra roofing material in the front yard. When I saw the roof it looks like a patch work quilt and this is a flat roof where rolls or roofing material were used . I hope the roof work is far better than the appearance .Would I recommend this contractor maybe if I wanted to loos friends I would, their work ethics leave plenty to be desired and the lack of professionalism by the contractor makes me very doubtful that I would.
