The company technicians arrived on time on the scheduled date. They completed the work in a timely matter and thoroughly cleaned the work area when finished. The men were courteous, friendly and very accommodating I would definitely hire this company again..

Arrived early, called ahead. Several tasks were more difficult than expected The guys worked until completion and stuck with the estimate. Will call again if i need help

Paid 1400 dollars as a deposit.. The work was not delivered on time. Though the company said they would refund the money, they have not given a refund, and are no longer responding

paid half down for siding repair/replace on 3/30/20. Goliath did not show up, or do the work, or call to reschedule. Have had to make many calls and reschedule several times. finally asked for a refund, Goliath said already purchased siding so I agreed to pay for siding if he dropped it off in my yard and refund the rest of the down payment. Again they did not show up or refund down payment.

Unprofessional, do not show on time, do not answer the phone.

Great Company! my husband and I hired them for a deck issue. The were very knowledgeable, and professional. They fixed our deck that was approx 25 years old and had rotted joists, fixed the support beams and replaced the joists. They also added joist hangers to the rest of the joists that didnt have them when it was originally built. Amazing job! very thorough. We then decided to have an other level built to deck 15x15. They did an AMAZING job. I wish there was a place here to add photos to so the work. I would recommend Chris and Goliath to anyone and we will also be calling them again soon for another project.

They got to the job and completed it in a professional manner! Very satisfied, a little pricey for the amount of time it took.

Hired them to fix the rotted floor in my bathroom, replaced the regular toilet with handicapped toilet. Put in new vinyl floor. Everything looks great the new toilet is great. guys even noticed when they went downstairs to look at plumbing for the toilet, they noticed that one of the floor joists was cracked and put a new one in to add to the strength. Very reasonable and knowledgeable. Plan on using them again in the future.

Outstanding! We have been extremely pleased. Chris and his team completely gutted an old bathroom and rebuilt the whole room. The work was done efficiently, timely, and with very good craftsmanship. Chris was very helpful and knowledgeable during the design process. The bathroom was done impeccably: it looks and works beautifully! It is now the bet room in the house lol. We highly recommend Goliath!!

This is my 9th home in 25 years- I have lived all over the country and dealt with contractors on jobs both big and small and the experience I had with Goliath was one of the worst. Cannot go into the whole nightmare in this limited review but the main issue is that I hired them to fill in gaps in the mortar of my brick wall- along with some smaller handyman type of jobs. Chris, the owner, is professional and knowledgeable-he said all of the right things and when there were problems he always took accountability and made promises to rectify the situation. The crew he sent out to work on the brick were not bricklayers or masons, the one kid (after being here for several weeks) actually asked my husband how to properly fill the mortar at one point. My last contact with Chris was on Nov 18th, 2019, when I asked when they were coming back to fix the mess that was made of my wall (there are areas that were never finished and those that had mortar smeared all over the face of the brick) and clean the concrete that was dried all over my stairs, his reply, scheduled tomorrow-he never returned and has not contacted me since (2 1/2 months +). Started the job in July and while the weather is always a factor in outdoor work, there were countless weeks that went by of blue skies when someone was scheduled to be here and no one showed. Charged me hourly for an employee who was left here with no supervision, (and no skill) who logged his own hours (yet at least twice I mentioned to Chris that he cut out after 2 or 3 hours and he had no idea) and was constantly on his phone- There are many more issues but mainly Chris from Goliath Construction took on a project and though he claimed to have a mason team of 4 men who could do the work, only consistently managed to send me one young guy (Not a mason) who at most, put in about 5 hours a day, told me multiple times he would be back to acid wash and clean up the spilled mortar that spilled everywhere. Lots of promises, no delivery and worst of all, my wall is in worse condition now than it was before I paid them to fix it and I need to hire someone else to make it right. Horrible experience- wish there was a no star option.

Hired the company to do 2-day painting of windows. Prepaid for estimating fee. The estimator apparently did poor job communicating with the office on scope and pricing. He is no longer with the company. Service and workmanship was as bad as it gets. I punch-listed the upstairs windows after the workers said they were complete. When I came downstairs to report to them the shoddy work they did, they were gone. I called the office to say I did not want the workers to come back to work on the downstairs and emailed photos of the finished work to the office boss. The foreman earlier said the 4 main worse windows downstairs were too rotted out and needed replacement vs. patching and painting. No mention of a price reduction. I ended up hiring another handyman to patch, seal, and paint the 4 downstairs widows for about 2/3 the price of the estimated undone work by Goliath. The office boss said he would come out to take a look but never did. I disputed the half payment credit card charge but was too late. My biggest mistakes were leaving the house most of the day for medical appointments and trusting the workers would do a good job and also paying 1/2 the quote before the work was started. If the company tries to charge my credit card for the 2nd day of work, the credit card company will report it to their fraud department. I ended up completing the upstairs windows even though I am not a good painter. The main objective was to protect window and frame bottoms from damage by collecting future rain moisture.

It took a long time but thankfully, I did get my money back.

Not what you typically find today, these guys are responsive, reliable, reasonable, and high quality. Chris responded promptly with a reasonable quote. He scheduled the work quickly, and crews showed up,worked hard and efficiently and did a thorough cleanup when he was done. would highly recommend and will use again for future projects.

I was contacted very quickly, and quoted a good price. The crews that came out to do the work were extremely professional and polite. They even moved things on their schedule to accommodate me. we had water damage from a broken pipe, ruined insulation, floor and drywall in the bathroom. They cut the damaged piece out, replaced pipe, drywall and floor. Awesome job on all! They were here 14hrs start to finish, and you cant even tell anything happened and also updated the floor tile. Pleasantly surprised at the workmanship, I will contact them again for future work, and even recommend them to the neighbor.

Great Company !! Guys were very knowledgeable and professional, I didnt do anything, they got the material, demo'ed out the bath, put in new floor, toilet, sink, and painted.And cleaned everything up before they left and hauled the trash Looks beautiful!, this is the second job we have had them do, and would recommend them to anyone. I wish HA had a place to upload photos, the bathroom is BEAUTIFUL!

charged on my credit card without my permission,did give an okay for parts and the $49 when i hired him. but not the whole bill. i did not sign when the job was done he just paid himself off. one bill said one thing and the other was $800.00 more.the faucets in kitchen makes a loud noise. more to say but i think you get it

I had steps & a ramp replaced on my shed. The cost for the material was outrageous - my fault - should never have agreed on the price. Each piece of wood for each step was damaged. I had Chris come out to look at them. He told me he would replace just one of the steps...the cracks & splits on the other steps were normal for treated lumber. I wasn't thrilled with that explanation. He said he would be out the following week to replace the wood. That was at least a month ago...still not here. I have also requested an itemized statement at least three times...still waiting for that, too. Don't do business with this company.

The company is irresponsible, charged me an estimation fee and never showed up, i tried contacting this company multiple times with no response.
