Good Greek Moving and Storage of Tampa

Charged me all $300 more than the estimate. Workers wanted a tip. Get your tip from the $1000 charge for 3 hours work to move 3 miles.

Our team of Movers, Barut, Angel, Omar and Clarisol were fantastic start to finish, they had a worker leave early and the rest of the team took up the slack and busted their Butts to get us moved back in. I highly recommend this team.AAA+++

Jonathan and Levi Robinson and Travis Kirkland moved us into our brand new construction home on Sunday 2/26. They were prompt, thorough, packed things so carefully and were fun friendly guys. Moving stinksâ ¦.but they made it perfect. Would use them over and over again. We got very lucky to get the best moving crew that exists

Daniel was in charge of the packing/loading crew and the delivery crew which was scheduled 4 days after pickup. Him and his crews were timely and professional. They worked hard and were always courteous. They did a GREAT JOB!!

I dealt with three wonderful people and they helped me resolve the issues and they did not charge me the extra fees Jack Daniel and the others were all helpful and very generous

Never use or recommend this outfit again! Broke my coffee table and tried to conceal the damage without telling me. Also broke my $800.00 Coo Coo clocks after I told them that I would take it off the wall and move it myself. Rolled the weight chains like they were a rope or extension cord. Turned desk and vanity upside down so everything inside will not allow drawers to open. Jessica told us that we do not need to empty drawers as they would wrap everything in blankets and stretch wrap every piece of furniture. Very bad experience.

Grady Riley, Roberto and Ginger were all extremely professional. Not a single problem. They were prompt in arriving, very careful moved quickly and handled my furniture as if it were their own. I will be using Good Greek for all my future moves and highly recommend them to anyone looking to move.

I had a piano moved from Brooksville to St. Petersburg. The movers were excellent. They were careful with the piano and creative in getting it from the Brooksville location to their truck in a way which would not harm it. The only negative was that the movers arrived at night, when I was expecting them in the afternoon. Still, they got the job done on the day we had set up and, even though the men had been working straight since very early in the morning, they were very polite, amiable, and careful as they set up the piano in its new location. My brother, who was in the Brooksville location, and I were both very pleased with these movers!

The Customer Service was excellent. Scheduling availability was excellent. The estimate was detailed and easy to understand. The cost competitive. The Moving Staff professional and competent.

They sell you on a **quote** versus an **estimate** that all other movers claim to give you. Jessica comes to your house and looks around, takes notes and pops some crazy figure out and see if you bite, then you haggle on the price and she makes you sign on that price. All the while she tells you, **This price will never change**. Yeah right. They dont tell you that even if you have ALL the boxes, totes, paper, bubble wrap, and tape. I paid the signed and quotes amount in cash 1300.00 to the driver. Signed the paper and he told me thats it. Then when they get all my stuff loaded he surprises me with another 225.00 bills and says they wont unload it until he gets it. If they have to pack anything, they tack on an hourly rate of 225.00 per hour. THAT is what they dont tell you and it wasnt explained to me. Jessica specifically said **THIS AMOUNT WONT CHANGE REGARDLESS IF ITS 2 HRS OR 24 HOURS!** They did not follow any of my directions on what to load first, where to put things on the other side, they left my cold food and my medicines in a tied up Ikea bag in my hot garage and didnt tell me. I had to text to ask where was my stuff. I even bought them all lunch and before we left the beginning apartment AFTER all of my stuff was on the truck then the driver decides I owe him another 225.00, like they are holding your stuff hostage. THIS MUST BE HOW ALL MOVERS ARE BECAUSE THIS SEEMS TO HAPPEN ON EVERY BAD REVIEW I SEE LATELY. Dont do the job if you are going to blackmail people and holding their stuff hostage. You are in the wrong business And by the way, Ginger in the office is a complete B****H! Condescending, uncooperative, uncompromising, and definitely not a people person. I dont care who youre married to, you dont need to talk to people like they are trash or beneath you. BEWARE OF THIS FRAUDULENT AND SCAM COMPANY. READ THE BBB COMPLAINTS, DO YOUR HOMEWORK, AND PROTECT YOURSELF. NEVER PAY CASH TO THEM AS YOU HAVE NO RECOURSE!

Do not hire this company! We hired them to pack the entire contents of our 4,500 sq ft home. We asked them to leave only the furniture and the wall art. We agreed to pay an hourly rate and for the packing supplies. Five men arrived at 9:30am and stopped packing around 2pm. We were in and out of the house all day and asked them to call us prior to departure so that we can do a walk through. They did not call before they left the and showed up at the new house with the truck saying they could not unload until we paid them in full. Trusting that they did as they promised, we paid them so that they could unload. The bill was $2,200.00 They brought a total of only 36 packed boxes. After opening them we found that many of them were only ¼-? full with the contents thrown in without care. Rather than hanging the clothing in the garment bags, they were thrown at the bottom of the box. When we went back to the old house we found that there were closets, cabinets, bathrooms, bookshelves (and more) that were still full of stuff that had not been packed by Greek Movers. If I had to guess, they only packed 30% of what we asked them to. When I called Greek Movers to express my concern, he blamed it on me saying it was my fault for not being there to watch them pack. He offered to help by sending out another team to finish the job that his previous team did not and charge the same hourly rate. The day prior Greek movers sent 5 guys who spent 4 ½ hours packing 36 boxes and charged me $2,200!!!!! There was no way I was getting ripped off again. So I hired another moving company to finish the move. Two people came and worked for 8 hours. They packed an additional 65 boxes. There invoice was only $1,400. They got everything that Greek Movers promised to do, but did not . They were amazing. Do not hire Greek Movers. They are careless, dishonest and will take advantage of you. Excellent experience. No added/hidden fees. Nothing damaged. Professional crew and leader ( Stevie did an awesome job with his crew). Picked up and delivered on time. Would definitely use them again and highly recommend them.

Excellent company truthful and non nonsense

This company told me when I booked my move the movers would be at my home between 8-9 am on moving day. The day before the move they called to say my move had been pushed back to the 2nd move of the day would not give me a time for the move. On moving day, I called at 4:00 pm they said the crew was just getting ready to unload the first move & it would be late in the evening before they would move me! They lied to me about my move time just to get me to book it-then cancel it on moving day @ 4pm! Do not use this company!

The move went well. The workers worked hard and made sure everything was put back together. One item was they hit my walls several times and we had some minor damage.

Arrived 39 mins late with only two workers. Third worker had no ID and could not drive into the community. Pickup a bed room suite deliver 15 mins away, off load bedroom suite and pick up bedroom suite 25 mins away. I notice when they were packing they were wrapping everything that was not needed. When I told the person in charge that's not needed, his response was it's company policy to wrap everything. What should have taken no more than 3 hours took almost 5 hours and 150.00 worth of supplies.
