I didn't understand the service that was going to be provided. I thought there would be more of a physical inspection rather than a visual inspection. I expected more hands-on work, more than simply looking at it (my chimney). I don't understand when and how I will receive the certificate of inspection. He (the contractor who came out) had no identification (card, vehicle). It bothered me that he did not have a business card, which upset me and confused me.

I assume it was done properly. He worked at it for 30 or 40 minutes. I was quoted 199 to 299. Before the work started he quoted me 499 to 699. That was way too much for my budget. He called someone add offered to do it for 400. I broke done and had it done. My house is just a 1 story 20 year old house. Metal tube chimney. No work needed to be done in the firebox

Ben was great! He worked with me to make sure that the project could be completed within my budget, did not try to overcharge or oversell with unnecessary services, and gave options. He patched some small cracks in the chimney and fireplace, even though he said it wasn’t necessary, but I requested it. He reached out to me for scheduling since I was overwhelmed with having just moved in. It was good that I was flexible on timing so that he could come quickly to complete service and repairs.
After cleaning the chimney, he cleaned everything up. There was no trace other than a few light soot smudges on the hearth.
Ben was willing to make sure I was a satisfied customer and got everything taken care of.
I will definitely be using Good Guys again next year

He was very professional and thorough. He explained every part of the process, broke down what needed to be done with cost included and showed me pictures before and after. I even had to leave him at my house to lock up when he finished and he called me to confirm how to lock the door and tell me he was done and leaving. They sent me pictures and invoice after completion. We used our fireplace the next day!

Called them out to inspect our fireplace. Upon arrival, Rod came in told us what was going on with our fireplace, and fixed it on the spot. We now have a working fireplace and it took less than two hours to complete all the work. Would hire them again
