Goodlife Moving Service

I hired these guys 8 times now and I always recommend them to anyone who needs moving services. They are always great but what I love the most about this company is that they are honest! The quote you a price and that IS the price they are going to charge you... No gimmicks or any other surprises. You do not find that often with moving companies. Definitely recommend!

Not the most professional outfit. They left several items behind, lost some items and damaged others. I will not recommend this mover.

GoodLife movers should change their name to GreatLife. They came out on one of the hottest days of the week and moved me from one place and into another. They even set up my furniture with ease.They were professionals throughout the move. Great job and would hire this company again.

They did not follow direction, failed to honor a guaranteed quote, failed to send sufficient people to do the job. Furniture was broken and no one even told us that they broke the pedestal to the dining room table, they left us to find it as we were putting other things away, Broke several other items and failed to pack related items together like the TV controllers with the TV. I would not recommend. They arrived to deliver the whole house move with only 5 people, they really could not do the job, failed to reassemble several furniture pieces as was guaranteed and generally did a poor job,

My experience with Goodlife moving was great from the start, Dexter came out and did the in home assessment reviewed all of our possessions and provided us with a reasonable quote within a day or so. This eased my concerns regarding truck size since we have large furniture and just a lot of belongings. The 4 man team of movers were phenomenal, they clearly work together regularly and know what they are doing. They arrived at my apartment, were especially polite, toured the place and reviewed what was to be moved and within 5 minutes had their plan and got started. They took better care of my things then I think I would have, wrapped all of our furniture and didn't break a thing. When we arrived at my new home they got all of the furniture in, placed it where we wanted it and re-assembled anything that needed to be assembled. They were great about getting all of our boxes into the right rooms(its a 2 floor condo and they could have just dropped everything on the first floor). Not only were the polite, professional and conscience they also cleaned up after themselves and did not leave a single piece of tape or wrapping behind. I would recommend these movers to anyone looking for a good value and great service.

8/31/17 I wish I was able to select 0 stars to rate this company I entered into a contract iwth Good Life Movers, NJ on 7/27/17. A deposit of $100 cash was given to them. We agreed on Aug 31 for the moving date. I was told that someone would call me the day before to give me a time frame when to expect them. I took off work and my son gave up OT to receive the furniture. On Aug 30 I called the company because I had not heard from theem. I spoke to Jennifer, the receptionist. She confirmed that the movers would arrive between 9 and 11 on Aug 31. On Aug 31 at 10:20am I called the moving company and I was told by Jennifer 2 separate things. First, she told me that there was an issue with the truck and that they were trying to get another truck to come for my furniture. But, that it might not be until 2 or 3pm because there were 2 jobs ahead of mine. My question to her was “how could there be 2 jobs ahead of mine before 9am? What time does the company start moving people?” It was then that she told me that my appointment was pushed back to 11 to 1pm. No one had the decency to call me and let me know that information. So, at this point I realized that I was being lied to. First it was a truck issue and now it’s my appointment was pushed back. Which one is it? Jennifer told me that the manager would call me to explain, in a few minutes. Well, 20 minutes later I called back and told Jennifer that I had not heard anything from the manager, Dexter. A few minutes afterward a gentleman named Mr. K called me to apologize for the confusion. He explained to me that they were at another job and that he would be finished as quickly as possible and hopefully be here for my furniture by 1pm. This interaction with Mr. K confirmed that I was being jerked around the whole time. Here it is past 1pm and still no movers. Disgusting.

They did their work within the given time and budget.
