Mike did work building a dry bar in my basement. He was very easy to work with, communicative and did great work. He is fairly priced and was open to my suggestions, checking In with me before making any major decisions as he knew I wanted to be a part of the design process. The end result Is exactly what my vision was, and I couldn't be happier with It.

Mike Goodman and his team did a great job building an overhang for the front door. I had given him a picture of what I wanted. It was not exactly like the picture, but in all fairness, he said he would get as close as possible. It still turned out very nice. In addition, Mike added three railings to deck stairs. The project took five days, which is what he projected. He was sensitive to my need for details and we kept in constant contact through out the project. I live in Maryland and the project was in Connecticut.

We have used this company for a variety of house projects in the past and we have found Mike and all of his team reliable, dependable, competent, knowledgeable, efficient, clean, and timely. Mike responds in a timely manner to all of my emails and all quotes are specific and detailed up front. He and his team go out of their way to keep their work areas clean, organized and always leave the area cleaner than when they began the work. They are very attentive to detail and exceed expectations.

Over the many years we owned our house, we have used quite a few contractors for home improvement. None of them have compared to Mike Goodman. We have found Mike and his crew to be very professional knowledgeable and easy to work with. His skill set is vast and his ability to interpret our wish has been amazing. Mike was extremely helpful and great to work with. He did a great job redoing my bathroom shower and painting the bathroom.. I just bought a new condo and he did a really nice job with the floors that I choose and the shower and colors I choose.. He is very easy to work with and you can trust him and the people who work for him..

Very pleased with the outcome of this project. Goodman Construction removed 2 layers of siding from a 70 year old garage and essentially rebuilt the garage including footings that were not there. Resided in natural red cedar shingles. The garage looks great and is in better shape than the original. Should last another 70 years. Thanks Mike, Jess, and Pat

Mr. Goodman repaired a roof damaged by a fallen tree. He was prompt, did a great job and charged a fair price.

Mike is very patient and extremely knowledgeable. He and his team did an incredible job enclosing our breezeway and making custom cabinets for the new area.

My husband and I hired Mike Goodman to install a replacement picture window, expand a doorway to an interior room, mount our flat screen television and replace a door and trim to our attic stairway. Mike was also able to recommend an electrician to install recessed lighting in our living room and playroom, as well as, install outside lighting. Mike did a great job on the carpentry work and oversaw the electrician work. He made sure that we were satisfied with the completed work. He provided reasonable pricing and we will definitely be hiring him again for future upgrades in our home.

I hired Mike to renovate our family room to give it an updated look. Work included taking down old dark paneling, new sheet-rock, taping, painting, new trim around the base of the room and around the windows, installing 3 new windows and a new slider door. Mike was timely and consistent from beginning to end, from phone calls and emails to showing up when he said he would be there. His work was priced fairly and his attention to detail is something I admire. I can't stress enough how clean he kept the room while working. Always using drop cloths and vacuuming everyday before he left. I get tons of compliments of our new updated room and I would highly recommend Goodman Building Company!
