He came to work on time, and finished the job on time too. Our brick home is 32 years old, and the mortar had worn away in some areas. Gordon did an excellent job matching and covering everything. It really looks like new. he was very respectful, and the area was cleaned well when he was done with the job.

Gordon communicated well, he was conscientious about keeping our house clean; if he said he was coming he came; he paid attention to detail; we had no problems because Gordon was on top of everything and made every attempt to avoid a mishap. I could not be happier with the work Gordon did restoring the fireplace in my newly purchased 95-year-old home. He took an old gas fireplace that had not been used in at least ten years, had weeds growing in the chimney and had mortar falling out or missing and turned it into the stunning focal point of the home I had envisioned. Gordon basically rebuilt the entire fireplace box and chimney, converting it back to the original wood-burning and updating the mantel. He was on time, did what he said he would do, explained what and why he was doing it and finished the job on time with no real surprises. Gordon is a very professional, talented craftsman and on top of that, just a really great person. Highly recommended.

There are honestly too many incredible things to say about Gordon, both about his work and his demeanor. Our job: We needed a complete renovation of an old gas fireplace, the surrounding wall and mantel, and an old built-in entertainment center in a room with extremely tall ceilings; we wanted a new large electric fireplace with new surrounding stonework and a new mantel, we also had two smaller walls in the same room outfitted with matching stones. From his first look and discussing what we needed, through recommending and choosing the stones and fireplace, up until his final day on the job, Gordon was an all-star. You will not find anyone, in any industry, more honest, hard-working, kind, knowledgeable, and creative at his craft. Gordon was on time every day, worked hard continuously, kept a tidy work space and minimized mess. And was always friendly. Gordon's finished product was terrific and matched our vision 100%. Our new area now gets great compliments every time we have company. If you are looking for the best fireplace and masonry contractor, you found him. We are very lucky to have such a skill in our area.

Like other reviews I found Gordon exceptionally knowledgeable in his field - he is an expert in fireplace repair and install. In my case he replaced and regrouted the old firebricks in a wood fireplace so it is once again safe to use. He took his time and did an excellent job installing a dust barrier to prevent dust and dirt from infiltrating the inside of our home; he cleaned up the entire work-site at end of his work. Very professional, very knowledgeable. Price was entirely fair and very reasonable for the work performed. Thanks Gordon.

Gordon repaired some brick planters and flower boxes,. He is an obvious expert, the new bricks matched perfectly, grouting was excellent and we were very happy with the outcome.
