Andrew took on a project he was not that familiar with-- installing a screened porch on our lower balcony. It had some challenges and the job took longer than estimated. The porch held up fine in the recent hurricane, however, so overall I am pleased with the result.

The guy did try to satisfy us but I dont believe he had as much knowledge about building decks as we thought. Perhaps more experience is all he needs. He wants to please his clients and build up his business.

I have had Andrew Goodnight do a few small projects in the past and have been very satisfied with that work. I then called him about a deck repair project. Old deck was improperly installed and was starting to rot out at the post/footer junction. He made great suggestions and recommendations for a new deck with low maintenance options. He removed the old deck and footers, re-sloped the ground, poured new concrete footers at the correct elevation, then installed new synthetic/composite framing, railing, stairs and decking along with hidden fasteners. He provided the best pricing, the best options and we are elated with this new deck. I have many pictures that I am willing to share!
