Granite Disounter

We had to replace our slide-in stove and the new stove did not fit the opening because the original stove had a “lip” so the opening was actually 29”, not 30”. Yikes...no stove would fit, so we had to have the granite cut to enlarge the opening. Granite Discounter gave me an estimate within an hour of when I called and could do the work the next day. This was great because the old stove was not working and I had been stoveless for several days. The tech arrived on time, warned me that there would be a lot of dust (which I had read about), and set to work. He cut the opening to the perfect size to accommodate the new stove which was on site. I was concerned that the countertop could break, but he had no problem. Very happy with both the customer service and the work done. I will call them when I am ready to remodel the kitchen in a rental condo we own. Highly recommended.
