At Granite Garage Floors our only business is upgrading garage floors with a coating system that Looks and Last Like Granite. Gone are the days of having a drab unsealed concrete or gray painted garage floor that easily stains and leaves hot-tire marks. Our system focuses on preparation in addition to the use of industrial grade products – both of which are critical to a long lasting system that is extremely durable, resists staining, and is easy to clean. Our customers can choose from hundreds of designer color finishes to look like Granite, Quartz, or Terrazzo. Furthermore, we stand behind our professionally installed system with a “Life Time Satisfaction Warranty” that is guaranteed against hot tire pick-up. Each location is locally owned, operated, and fully insured to include neighborhood references along with an unheralded customer experience. Our service area includes the greater metropolitan Baltimore area and surrounding counties!

How We Got Started

I chose to work in this industry because the trend of transforming dingy concrete surfaces that collect dust and dirt, that have been painted multiple times, that have been neglected, or that need to have a more fashion-forward cosmetic appeal is becoming a very popular trend both residential and commercial. Does your concrete floor need a makeover? We will prep the floor the right way, use industrial grade materials and supplies, and stand behind our work. The end result is a floor that "Looks and Lasts Like Granite"!.

Since 2013 we have donated a floor to Catch-A-Lift foundation that supports wounded veterans.

Since 2014 we have donated a floor to raise money for autism awareness with Pathfinders.

In 2016, we donated a floor to raise money for the School of Cathedral Mary Our Queen

Coat Concrete Floors with Epoxy or Hybrid Polymer

Had Granite Garage Floors come in July 2020 do put a new epoxy floor in our garage. It took only 2 days (and only 3 hrs per day - just needed drying time from one day to the next) to do the job. It's two years later and our garage floor still looks brand new and we're extremely happy we had them do the floor. We're recommended them numerous times to folks interested in getting their garage floors (or basement floors) done. We were and still are 100% satisfied with their workmanship and product. Great company - great employees. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Criminal Background Check

Who does HomeAdvisor background check?

The owner or principal of each business in HomeAdvisor's network (with the exception of Corporate Accounts) must pass a background check. Unfortunately, we cannot perform a background check on every employee of a business—the background checks are performed only on the owner or principal. As always, we recommend that you conduct your own research on the businesses you hire, including making inquiries directly with the businesses regarding their employee background check policies.

What does the background check cover?

We use a third-party vendor to conduct a criminal records search in the county in which the business owner or principal works. Our third-party vendor uses a national criminal database ("NCD") to screen service professionals. Business owners or principals with felony arrests that carry a pending decision or who are convicted of felonies in the past 7 years ago will not be admitted to the network. Businesses or owners convicted misdemeanors or felonies, or who have dismissed charges or arrests on their records involving rape/incest, sex offenses, or lewd and lascivious behavior at any point in time will not be admitted to our network.

Our background check does not exclude service professionals unless the crime at issue is a felony.

*The comprehensiveness of the NCD varies by state. Please be aware that the reporting in the NCD is particularly limited in the following states: AL, CO, DE, GA, ID, IL, KS, LA, ME, MA, MI, MS, MT, NE, NV, NH, NM, SD, UT, VA, VT, and WY. After initial admission to the HomeAdvisor network, businesses are re-screened if a concern is reported to HomeAdvisor.

Corporate Accounts

Some businesses are employees, franchisees, dealers or independent contractors ("Corporate SP's") of larger national or "Corporate Accounts". When this is the case, we may match you with the Corporate Account or with one of their Corporate businesses. The above screening process does not apply to Corporate Accounts, as HomeAdvisor does not screen Corporate Accounts or Corporate businesses.

Criminal Records Search HomeAdvisor uses 3rd party data sources to conduct a criminal search for any relevant criminal activity associated with the owner/principal of the business. Sex Offender Search We confirm that the owner/principal is not listed on the official state Sex Offender web site in the state in which the owner/principal of the company is located. Bankruptcy Search We use 3rd party data sources to check the history of the principal/owner of the business for bankruptcy filings by or against them. Legal Search for Civil Judgments We use 3rd party data sources to check the principal/owner of the business for state level civil legal judgments entered against them. Liens Search We use 3rd party data sources to check the principal/owner of the business for liens placed against them. Identity Verification (SSN) HomeAdvisor verifies the social security number(s) of the owner/principal for identity check purposes. This check applies primarily to smaller business entities. Identity Verification (Reverse Phone Lookup) We conduct a reverse business phone lookup to identify records matching the phone number information provided by the business.
