During our search for granite countertops for our kitchen remodel we had the good fortune to visit Granite and Kitchen Studio in South Windsor, CT. From the moment we arrived, it was apparent that we were in the right place to discuss our needs and get expert advice. Throughout our buying experience, we were treated in a friendly and professional manner by all members of the Granite and Kitchen Studio team who at all times displayed a high level of knowledge and a dedication to working with customers to achieve their goals. We were greeted by Christy who listening carefully to what we were looking for in our kitchen design and showed us a number of options for granite countertops and tile backsplash. Very quickly, she was able to work up a design and provide us with a written estimate for the various grades of granite. Our original plan was to add a few new cabinets and have our existing cabinets resurfaced with new doors and hardware, and have new granite countertops and backsplash installed. When we were introduced to Ahmed Eldirany, owner of Granite and Kitchen Studio, he suggested we consider new cabinets as they often were only slightly higher in cost than resurfacing. Following his suggestion, we agreed to take a look at new cabinets and pricing. After our kitchen was measured, we worked with Devon to create a design, and with suggestions from both Devon and Ahmed, we were able to reconfigure the design that is both beautiful and much more functional with the addition of multiple drawers and cabinets in the main work area of the kitchen. Within a matter of days, Devon was able to provide detailed designs and pictures. We agreed on a contract that was specific in details and dates that work was to be performed. As Ahmed had stated early on, the overall cost was only slightly higher than resurfacing our cabinets, plus we had better quality cabinets with solid plywood construction and soft close doors and drawers. The cabinets were installed by Angel who arrived on time, answered our questions and proceeded to install the cabinets in just one day. His friendliness, knowledge, work ethic and equipment were all exceptional. After a few days, the cabinet moldings and hardware were installed and it was time for the granite installation. Thomas and another gentleman named Angel arrived as promised and within just a few hours had installed the granite and new sink. We highly recommend Ahmed and his Granite and Kitchen team of professionals who provided the highest level of expertise and advice throughout the process. Their friendly and low key approach was greatly appreciated. You will not find a better group of people to meet your kitchen remodeling needs or just installing a new granite countertop. And after all, how can you go wrong with a company that has two "Angels" working for them?

We shopped around and their selection of granite, knowledge of general construction and the selection of high quality materials was unmatched. Now that he project is done the quality of workmanship is exceptional.

They were exceptional in every way. The finished product was more than I expected.

Did not return calls promptly. Did not care about the customer's feelings only about getting their money. Will not use nor recommend them to anyone.

Amazing job, but could be improved if they did two coats of sealer since one is not enough.
