Dakota is knowledgeable, hard working, has fair prices and is very polite, courteous and responsive. He is a wonderful landscaper and I will continue to use him for my landscaping needs.

Update: Review changed after communication issues. Bills were paid, yet kept receiving invoices. Emails & phone calls went unanswered. Dang shame, I think Dakota is a good guy trying hard to make it, but maybe just a little overwhelmed to respond to customer service!

I hired Grasshoppers Solutions to clear old tree stumps, vegetation and debris from my very large back yard. The entire process from reviewing the project area, providing a cost estimate, and completing the job was quick, painless and completely satisfactory. It was also a pleasure dealing with two young men (Dakota and Julian) who have a pleasant demeanor know what they're doing.

I found Dakota on thumbtack for a one time gig, turns out he is our landscaper for all our NJ properties and we will be hiring him again come the spring. He is quick and fair on pricing. Highly recommend him.

Extremely unprofessional experience from start to finish. We paid upfront, and even gave an additional $150 as a courtesy?yet once payment was received, that was essentially the end of the service. They failed to show up on the agreed-upon days and times, often leaving us waiting for hours with no call, text, or update. On one occasion, they arrived hours late in the morning smelling strongly of marijuana. On another, showed up hours later admitting it was because they were hungover from the night before?completely unprofessional behavior. They do not work around the customer?s schedule, and when we confronted them about the ongoing issues, we were told we were ?overreacting.? A simple request to move a sprinkler head became a drawn-out issue and was never completed. Every follow-up was met with, ?I?m doing this as a courtesy,? even though we had already paid them in full?plus extra. The unfortunate part is we actually liked them and wanted to continue using their services.

Professional, courteous, and detailed. Team works cohesively and there is no wasted time or energy. Great experience so far and highly recommend this company!

Dakota, the owner is awesome. What can I say? He answers the phone. He responds to texts. He shows up. He does a great job. And is generally just very nice guy. I need a Landscaper last year very late in the season. I think it was mid May or so. I was very late to the game. Grasshopper was the only one to respond and the only one who said â yeah we can do itâ . Very impressive and I highly recommend this company.

They were late - I didn t get to talk to anyone. They did an awesome job getting the clean up done and was well worth the money however I asked a few questions about future work ( soil testing, sprinkler turn on and head replacement) and I wasn t able to talk to anyone.

They were fast, responsive, friendly.
