Graystone Painting & Refinishing is a family owned and operated business serving Topeka, Lawrence, and surrounding areas. We specialize in residential painting and refinishing projects including painting, staining, cabinet refinishing, concrete surfaces, decks, and more. Whether it’s new construction or annual maintenance, we offer a variety of services to help you keep your home looking great! Although we are a youthful company, our staff brings over 100 years of painting and refinishing experience. Our goal is 100% customer satisfaction and we will not leave your home or accept final payment until we have done a final walk-through; we want you to be so happy with your experience that Graystone Painting & Refinishing is your first and only call for future projects.

My experience with Graystone painting was wonderful. The entirety of the exterior of my home was painted in three days (we were lucky with the weather!) and they did a wonderful job. James was great to work with and the painters were professional and cleaned up after themselves at the end of each day. It was very clear that the priority was my satisfaction with the final product and I am a very happy customer. Highly recommended!

I was extremely please with the whole process and final outcome. In terms of the process, the quote to finish the job was straight forward no bullshit assessment on what could be done and what could not be done. I understood exactly what they were offering. They repaired walls - put in sheet rock and then put high caliber professionals in providing a first rate painting job which included texturing. The final product was absolutely perfect and extremely please beyond my imagination on how it turned out. I would hire them again in a heart beat.

The original contractor who replaced our old deck, Pro Deck and Design out of Kansas City, screwed up the install and after 3 years, we had water leaking into our house. Graystone came in and repaired the deficiency for a very reasonable price. Given all the heavy rains we had in May, we didn't get a drop into our house or even under our deck. Highly recommend this company.

I had some rotting siding on my house that required repairs a little past my skill level. Graystone was very prompt and took care of the issue which exceeded our satisfaction. From the very start they were totally professional in all they said and did and that continued all the way through the project. They were painting on some very hot days but still were able to stay on task and finished in a timely manner. They took care to make sure any holes were filled and then sanded as needed. The results were fabulous! They also took the time to show me some things they uncovered concerning my roof while they were fixing the soffits that may have caused problems and could again, then they helped me find a couple professionals that could help in that area as well. They also treat their employees well and with great respect! I am very happy with the end result and would hire them again!
