Great Gutters of Northwest Florida

I am very disappointed with Great Gutters! on Aug 2020, I had great gutters install 6-feet seamless metal gutters throughout the house with an underground drainage system, which was a total disaster. in order for this system to work, it needed to be extended at least halfway to the patio or to the street so the water could drain away from the foundation. something great gutters said they do not do. the reason I bought into this underground drainage is that great gutters told me that this system will work. they said that they have installed this system throughout Pensacola, therefore I decided to change the 5-inch gutters to the 6-inch with the underground drainage. great gutters installed the underground drainage only 5-6 feet from the foundation. this system did not work and it was the worst system one could ever have (unless it is installed correctly, which in our case, it was bad business and bad installation.) since this system did not work after it rained, it flooded the back, and side of the house close to the foundation. some gutters did not drain (water did not escape through the underground drain valve), others could not take all the water, and the water escaped through the waterspouts and the screws that were holding the gutters. the back of my house had a pool all around the foundation because the valves could not expel the water and the drainage tubes were not inclined enough for the water to escape. the worst part was that it rained the whole weekend, therefore every time it rained, the side and back of the house (close to the ac unit) got flooded. it was a nightmare trying to fix this problem during the weekend. we had to remove the underground drainage to prevent the ac unit from been drowned. we had this nightmare from Thursday to Monday. another gutter close to the main entrance did not work also, and the water was damaging my front door since it was not installed properly. I contacted great gutters and the owner came over Monday, late afternoon to fix one gutter. the other gutters did not get fixed the same day. during the weekend, I sent videos to the manager to get this problem fixed. a good manager would have come to check the problem right away no matter if it was the weekend. he was aware of the problems since I had been texting him about the situation. this was practically an emergency. we had to remove the drainage system. we removed all the underground drainage tubes and valves. great gutters did not face up to the wrong installation and did not want to give us any money back. as of right now, the gutters are still not working properly, I need to have two more gutters installed to alleviate the water flow so the gutters stop overflowing. the lesson learned is that this system does not work and a patio survey must be done before selling the customers this underground drainage. I lost time and money on this project. I do not recommend great gutters and their systems at all. they lied. I have photos to prove this bad installation.

We looked for a recommendation on HomeAdvisor. We entered our request on the weekend and Chad reached out on Monday. We invited them to come by to provide an estimate. Once meeting them it was a done deal. It was like a trusted neighbor giving recommendations. Not a high pressure sales pitch. The crew was nice, friendly and well mannered. They worked hard!! Jobs was done in a day and a half in incredible heat. I m so impressed with this business. I highly recommend supporting this local small business.
