Great Lakes Epoxy Flooring

I paid Brandon approximately $1200 deposit, he stopped responding and now his number is no longer at service.

Great Lakes Epoxy floor company quoted me $3k to grind and polish my cement garage floor. I was required to give Brandon 25% when I scheduled the job. The day they were supposed to start the job they were a no show. And I was told 4 days in a row that they would start tomorrow. They finally showed up one afternoon and spent 3 hours grinding the cement. Said they would be back the next day. They never came back. I ended up having to clean the dust that was created. And after doing so, it appears that what was done did not even grind the current coating off the floor. And they left their grinding machine in my garage. I have been messaging them to come and get their equipment out of my garage for over a week and they have made no attempt to pick it up. This is the worst experience I have ever had with hiring someone to do a job for me. The owner of the company has not even acknowledged my complaints and request to get his equipment. His employee has responded to my requests but he is telling me he will come soon to get it. Not sure what his definition of soon is exactly.

They did not properly grind my cement floor, did not fill all cracks with epoxy filler, and did not fully coat the top of the floor with clear polyaspartic epoxy sealer (left large areas uncoated). I have pics of all the flaws in their work. They indicated they would correct the issues but then they went radio silence for the last 3 weeks leaving my job unfinished. I had to finish the job myself at my own cost which is why I will be taking them to court.
