Work completed 3/20/10. Biggest mistake was paying upfront per owners request. About 5 workers, sloppy job, paint on rugs and molding. Owner contacted and apologized stating that lead or foreman did not show up. I live out of state and was leaving so owner suggested I contact him when I return in July. Owner showed up in July, did some touch up on walls? He promised to come back to finish molding and never return. Not a good business

Not satisfied with this company because the owner, Richard Mowery, had send his crew back three times to apply paint on large areas that were completely missed such as the outside surface of the fence and the parapit. The owner came back himself to complete the redo touchup on the fence and many other areas that were just completely missed by him and his crew. Also the security light sensors were damaged by paint and broken by his crew. The crew left a large bag of trash and open can of black paint in the yard instead of taking this trash with them as the owner's contract implicitly states. I would not recommend this company for any jobs!

They did a poor job of stripping and re-staining our cabinets to the point that we will have to purchase new cabinet doors for all of our cabinets.

Was late 2 days in a row, never layed down plastic drop cloths to protect carpet, furniture or flooring, took smoke breaks where smoke entered my home, work was poor and sloppy, i fired them the next and found a real pro to complete my project who did it in a timely professional manner with no set backs. Very disappointed with this company, please don't wast you time with them and look for a real pro that can do it right.

I'd like to recommend Richard T. Mowry, owner of Great Paint Job for anybody needing painting help. Service Magic gave me his name and I called and subsequently chose him from other quotes I had. Richard's crew is friendly, efficient, neat and good. Richard is responsive, and courteous, plus he writes up a contract so there is no misunderstanding of work to be accomplished. He, came to my place with color scheme ideas and generally very helpful. I'm very happy with the job they performed: painting living, dining and kitchen rooms - 2 color scheme.

Wanted my honey almond ash cabinets stained to a dark cherry color. He sold me on a product that supposedly we didn't need to sand down to base wood we could just lightly sand and the product would do the rest. He also said the job would take 3 days. 9 days later the job still wasn't done. His painters showed me right on the can of the product it states sand to base wood. They then to salvage the job took the doors and proceeded to sand till there were grooves in the doors that couldn't be repaired. I fired them from this job but too late.

He tried very hard to do a good job. He was very busy and did NOT finish the job on time and was not that knowledgeable on refinishing cabinets ....had a hard time finishing.

Super work, great price, quick service, came out to survey, gave reasonable price completed on time! Highly recomended!

They were quick, clean and friendly. It only took them one day to do my kitchen and dining room, bathroom, living room and two bedrooms. My only complaints are that I thought they would fill the nail holes or spackle a couple dents behind doors but they didn't. They also cracked an electrical cover in the living room and didn't remove at least two electrical covers in the kitchen before painting. They were almost $150 cheaper than the next lowest bid I had so I'd recommend them to others, with some reservations.

Before they started they made sure that I saw what the paint looked like on the house. It actually looked quite different on stucco than on the paint chip. They arranged to have the color altered so that it ended up looking as we had hoped it would on the house. They were prompt and always courteous. I would highly recommend them.

Richard (owner) did a great job and was easy to work with. Will hire him again in the future for my painting needs.

I was so impressed that you were always on time and kept in touch by phone for any changes in plans etc...I thought that you and your staff were amazingly neat! the yard looked barely touched, and all of your equipment was neatly put away at night. I thought that your estimates of time and paint were right on, You just made the whole thing so easy and stress-free! They did a great job on the interior, at a reasonable price. I plan to use them again for the exterior.

FOR THE MOST PART HE DID A GOOD JOB OF PAINTING, IT WAS THE CLEAN-UP LATER. THEY MISSED SEVERAL TOUCH UP JOBS, PAINT ON DOOR KNOBS, SICKY PAINT YET ON DOOR FACING. I AM SEEING WHITE SPOTS OF PAINT ON CARPET, BUT AM GOING TO HAVE THE CARPET CLEANED AND I TOLD THEM THAT, NOT TO WORRY. OVER ALL I WAS PLEASED. GLENNA JOHNSON

Richard was very personable and helpful. I had a little problem with the guys not completing the list of items he had given them to finish, but Richard came out on a holiday and fixed whatever issues I had without question.

Great communication and willingness to work with my schedule. Job was done quickly and to my satisfaction.

I was very pleased with Great Paint Job because, first, they were priced reasonbly. Second, his work is very good.
