Good Greek Moving and Storage

We had a terrible experience with Good Greek Movers. We were underquoted a price from the salesman on the phone. They also underestimated the hours that the move would take. Good Greek lost items in storage and we had several items broken. Just an overall mess. We felt lied to and taken advantage of, to say the least. Stay away from Good Greek.

Damaged my steps and refuse to repair. Overcharged me. Wouldnâ t unload truck until paid upfront. Showed up two hours early. Worst move Iâ ve ever experienced !

The driver Alex is the rudest I have ever seen... They charge more than what they say to deliver the move and give me damaged things that they did not pay for!!!

Wowâ ¦ what a great experience. I had a set of furniture moving to my daughterâ s house. This team Yordan, Rafael and Yosbel were the best. So professional, carefully wrapped each piece, moved quickly and even helped me move another piece. Very neat, arrived a few minutes early. I love these guys. We have a larger move coming soon and specifically requested this team for that move too. Very highly recommend good Greek and especially this team!!!

Contacted almost a month prior to move. Discussed early morning move of about 4 hr estimated. Did not show up until 3:45 PM. Never informed me I would be second. Workers did not know how to move good furniture. Put bare bureau tops facing unpadded aluminum dollies multiple times until stopped. I never recieved a final bill but a charge ($1,744 vs ~900) of almost double what I expected. The 75 inch LED TV (~$1,400 less), than 1 yr old which they packed, is broken and useless. Called the main office who referred me to the local office which has not responded to multiple calls and messages. As far as I know I did not receive the $100 off as advertised on their television ad. Seems this company does not care about much other than overcharging customers.

I hired Good Greek WPB for a local move. I donated furniture to Hospice Resale Shop. The guys were great. Several days later, this company moved me to Orlando. STEVE AND ANTONIO were super helpful. Their sense of humor helped me to relax during this challenging time. They were quick and efficient, but respectful of my property.

Glen and Woody were the best on both ends of the move. Just awesome! Resolved so many issues, including getting a 30" desk through a 28" doorway! Really did great work. I want these guys on my next move!

CROOKS!!! BEWARE!!! I wish I would have read the Yelp reviews first, but I found them on Google. What a complete rip off. 2 bedroom condo with everything already boxed and bagged, moving 1 mile away. Should have taken 6 hours at the most at the $179/ hour that I was quoted. Before they offload the truck, I get ambushed with a $2500 bill or they do not offload anything. You do the math. Even at 8 hours (1 of which they spent eating pizza I bought for them), that would have been $1000 less than what I was told to pay. The crew was definitely milking the clock. The people running this company are shady and this is totally unacceptable. *CROOKS - We realized after they left and we moved boxes out of the way, that they damaged and re-assembled the bed wrong and broke the electronics. The company did send 2 really nice workers out to try and undo the damage. They put the bed base there properly but the drawers are damaged, along with the electronics. After telling us several times that they would come repair the damage and never showing up, they emailed and offered $200 (take it or leave it) as compensation for destroying a $5000 piece of furniture. They said I should have taken out additional insurance for the bed set, which makes zero sense. The Bedroom was not damaged in transit, it was damaged by the incompetent employees who left without even mentioning the damage done to the bedroom.

Having done the research I found that if one purchases a *premium* package, 10-20k, you get 4 star service. Anything else, well, be prepared for a very bad move. Since I did not pay for a premium package....guess what. Movers showed up totally unprepared. No boxes, no bubble wrap, only tape. I furnished what boxes I had. I had packed books and clothing and only had approximately 1000 pounds to ship. 42 days later I sat in muted silence as they literally, *dumped* my possessions in my garage. It has taken them 35 days, three requests, to get a reimbursement form. The envelope was postmarked 13 March, received on 8 April. My possessions were packed without any paper, bubble wrap or for that matter any type of packing. They unpacked things I had packed, i.e. clothing and linens to use as padding. Yes you read that correctly, unpacked clothing and linens to attempt to use them as packing. Now it will take weeks to wash, dry, iron clothing. That does not take into account those items that must be dry cleaned. Breakable items were literally *thrown* into baskets and boxes with books, small appliances, photos etc. Just a few facts I will update as unpacking continues. Bottom line....DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

I was extremely impressed with Good Greek. They made the stressful experience of moving easy. From the in home no cost quote by Nickâ ¦to the customer service people who contacted me about arrival time to the amazing, fantastic three man team who came to do the actual move it was a smooth process. I have to give a huge shout out to Reynaldo, Miguel and Alejandro for their professionalism, knowledge and patience. They called me to let me know they were on the way, and got right to work! They took great care with my belongings..arrived at 7 am and loaded my three bedroom townhouse belongings , drove to Orlando and unloaded and completed the job by 12:30 pm. They listened to every question and request and ensured I was comfortable with what was happening. They even helped me (75 year old single woman) to attach the lock on my storage unit when I had difficulty â ¦.all I can say is this company is the BEST. You better believe when I am ready to move into my new homeâ ¦this is the company I will call. I would love it if Reynaldo, Miguel and Alejandro could be my movers againâ ¦but I am sure Good Greek will provide another great team. Just an additional note customer service rep called twice during the move to ensure all was well and checked the day after my move to check that the process was complete satisfactorily.

Totally professional from initial scheduling to rescheduling. Particularly challenging due to out of state move from a snow covered northern city that had no local direction or support. Packed well. Delivered on time. Unloaded in just a few hours.

The movers were professional, but the sales and operations / customer service teams were atrocious! For an out of state move, they wait until the absolute last minute to communicate when they will pickup and drop off your belongings, and expect everyone associated with your move to be available at any time within an 11 day window. 1 of those days you'll literally need to plan to be in 2 states at the same time. Then I come to find out that what I thought was clearly agreed upon with the sales rep was not communicated to the movers. Bait and switch. And then come the hidden charges they conveniently neglect to mention until you have no other recourse to accept. They even threatened to keep my belongings on the bus as they proceed to charge me an additional $400 in additional service charges right at the last minute!!! The operations team was rude and blatantly dishonest. Communication within their organization is totally dysfunctional. Do not give this company your business.

Company did not train men; they did not know how to move an apartment, or take care of antiques (broke a dresser leg after I told them it was fragile and to have 2 men move it.), or use an elevator, or load a truck. Three of us did more than they did and had to tell them what to do. Company kept calling their men to get my payment after I called the company to let them know the situation. Be forewarned; this company is not good at anything (including overcharged me) except their misleading marketing. BEWARE.

From the initial call to get a moving estimate until the last box that was delivered by The Good Greek, the experience was exceptional and consistent. - The movers were on time (8:00am) and ready to work - They were organized, professional, polite and friendly - No damages reported with over 100 boxes amd expensive furniture â White Gloveâ defines the moving services provided by The Good Greek. Too expensive and horrible.

I highly recommend Good Greek Moving and Storage. The movers were on time and professional. I was very pleased that they took extra care wrapping up our dresser as well as other furniture. They even delivered a piece of furniture I wanted to donate to the Salvation Army. I would definitely use them again.

Please be careful if hiring this company. You must watch them from start to finish to make sure they pack correctly. I finally received my furniture back from storage and there were damages that were much worse than even anticipated. I will file a claim but to have to go through this process is disappointing. I was promised when signing my contract the workers are not new and most have many years with the company. Not true. I had a mover that was new and although he tried, he was not meant for the job and caused damage. I had received a gift card as part of the contract but have yet to Attempt to use them. Spiro the owner must get better control of his company for anyone to consider using them. I do not know how they can be the movers for all our local sports teams except to say they can afford, more than me, to replace and fix broken and damaged items. Promises do not mean anything here. Oh and they had to postpone my original move on cause their fork lift broke. Only 1 fork lift? Not the way to run a company sir. They have only offered me $180 compensation which is ridiculous and I refused.

Horrific. Started with an appointment window of 7am-10am. They turned up at 1 pm after numerous calls to the office. 2 brand new guys who had no clue how to even wrap furniture and a driver who did not have a CDL Licence who finished late the previous night and slept in the truck. Wardrobe boxes with no rails, they just piled the clothes in, yes seriously, suits, etc. Sweaty movers taking a quick rest in the truck on my wife's leather office chair. Making me pay a price over the quote and a waiver to stop me challenging the charge with credit card company, or they refused to unload MY belongings. Beware of the so called GOOD Greek and his false advertising. Terrible totally unscrupulous company. DO NOT EVER USE THEM FOR ANYTHING !

I used Good Greek as recent as Sunday, April 25, 2021 and the service was horrible. At the end of the day I considered my move the move from hell;. The move began with the movers putting a hole in the wall in the master bedroom of the house I was moving out of. Of course this was not good since I was selling and closing on the house the following week. Then when the movers reached the new house I was moving into, one of the movers complained about having to carry my furniture upstairs and had the audacity to suggest customers should not pack boxes to the full capacity. Upon the movers unloading my furniture of the truck, new furniture I had recently purchased was broken, my Samsung flat screen TV was scratched thoroughly, my bedroom suite drawer chest was also scratched thoroughly. The movers did not know how to disassemble and reassemble fine furniture such as my Bernhardt dining room set and my Kevin Charles four poster bed. Handling fine furniture is definitely not the expertise of Good Greek movers. When the movers uncovered my furniture they had wrapped, all my furniture pieces were dirty. Not dusty from the cloth wrapping but down right dirty. One of the movers handled my furniture extremely carelessly. I called the office of Good Greek at least five times on the day of my move regarding the poor quality service I received. I am currently awaiting a response to a claim I submitted for the damage to my furniture. The move was by far the worst move I have ever had. I will not use Good Greek ever again even if it is free.
