I started my military career in February of 1988 and left service in 1996. In those 8 years, I shared the experience of many to be deployed to desert storm setting my feet in the sand in September of 1990 with the patriot missile battalion. In 1991 I was medvacted from Saudi for back injuries and ended my career in the states. I left Texas and went back to Michigan where I met my wife and started the new life. I've gone threw years and years of tremendous back pain trying to make ends meet. Now that we've been in are house for past 5 yrs, I've lost a thumb do to machine error at work, been fighting with VA for many years for my disability and finally found a representative that got it done and finally started after almost 30 years. With all that being said and time away from work due to accident I found this company that helps out veterans in need on roofs on there homes, because are roof is getting bad. The Roof for Vets program is a life saver. I am a Disabled Marine Corps Veteran living in Southfield, MI. I served from 2018-2021 and separated due to injury. I’ve been having a huge leak in 2 spots on my roof that have caused serious water damage in the room I sleep in, and my living room where my family and I gather. I am so appreciative that there are people and businesses out there that are willing to help a veteran in need. Very good people !

I live in Paw Paw, Michigan and served in the United States Army from 2013-2025. The roof for vets program helps those who have served get roofs that they are in need of but cannot purchase. My wife, three children and I had storm damage occur to our roof. This roof replacement from the Roof For Vets team will be a huge weight off of our shoulders and allow us to not have constant worry surrounding the roof of our home.

We had a deck built by Green Built. There were issues with the final repairs and I could never get the company to respond to phone calls and emails. I provided a BBB review which then caused them to finally respond but negatively to me by text and not a call. They provided a response on BBB to my review but never made any note of my issue nor any attempt to correct the workmanship items brought up. More attempts made for contact, pictures sent of the issues with the raised board that is a tripping hazard at the top of the stairs, the stair stringer that is cracked in several areas due to screws being applied too tightly, trim pieces not secured and a board that is gouged. I recently received another text response stating that we received a deck bigger than contracted for. Our original deck was 12x16. We contacted several companies to bid to add 5ft length and add 2ft to the width which would make the new deck 17x18. We also contracted for stairs to be added. That is what Green Built provided which was not bigger than contracted as they claimed iiNow we were told by Mike the owner that we shorted them $9,000 (but we had paid the final amount he asked for) and that they no longer want to talk to us. We are asking the BBB for assistance in getting them to repair their workmanship items that need corrected but no response from Green Built

Had a roof installed by Greenbuilt, and has been leaking ever since. We've had nothing but problems and the runaround since day one. We are ready to file in court, but using this review to reach out to Mike the owner once again to see if he will resolve these issues. Mike, are you intentionally taking advantage of the fact my husband is disabled? Why are you giving us the runaround? I see other good reviews, so why are you treating us so badly? Very time efficient & great overall communication

Our experience with Green Built Roofing in Richland, Michigan was excellent. We experienced efficiency throughout the whole process. My wife and I are very satisfied with the outcome, and happy with the experience of our new roof. Mike, Tony, Ricardo, and the roofers are pleasant to work with, efficient, and professional with following up with and completing that which has been promised. We highly recommend Green built Roofing for your roofing needs.

Roofer not done yet.

Mike from Green Built Roofing is excellent he explained everything. Was prepared with everything about my house measurements etc. Work has not been done yet but I feel I made the right choice in companies. Definitely would refer them.

Green Built was an Angie's recommendation. The reviews that I read were spot on. They worked from sun up to sun down. They cleaned up very well. It was very refreshing to work with a professional company where I live in Baldwin.

Made the process super easy, had difficulty with other companies and green built came in and made it simple. Even replaced the whole roof when insurance only wanted to cover half!!! Highly recommend their service, communication was great and crew did a great job. Thank you for all your help!

I'm very pleased with the work

Greenbuilt went above and beyond for us. We had a storm damaged flat roof they worked with our insurance company (which was a wonderful surprise) saving us a headache. They were extremely organized and done ahead of schedule. They left our property cleaner than when the arrived. I would highly recommend Mike and greebuilt

Installed in one day, workers tirelessly worked over 12 hours in very hot, humid conditions. Old roof completely removed, new roof installed. Every single nail and piece of debris was cleaned up before they considered the job complete. Men were very courteous, polite and professional. Highly recommend.

Nice people,good job

From beginning to end Alex and Mike were on every detail. Things I didn't even know to ask they made sure I was aware of. They handled everything with our insurance company after the initial claim was submitted. So thankful for their expertise and their customer service. We weren't just another person to them, they cared and checked in even when they didn't need to. Many places lack customer service, this company is not one of them! If you need a job done they'll make sure it gets done right and quickly. So glad we called them, very happy with how everything turned out!

We hired Green Built to replace the roofs on our house and both barns after having storm damage. They were very good to work with and the roofs look great! I would use them again for a future project!

Great work

Mikes team was great to work with. They tore off the hail damaged shingles and replace with new. The entire process was easy, pleasant and glad Green Built was the company I choose.
