Poor Quality Control, and even worse customer service! We have used Green Carpets services for the last three consecutive years. Although they have NEVER been exceptional, the service was adequate until this year. Our annual expenditure for the lawn care service with Green Carpet is $1,450. We find ourselves constantly calling between service applications to explain the yard is progressively besieged with weeds. Time after time, we begrudgingly pay the bill. Today, 10/19/21 Chris called to set up the fall application. I explained I was very unhappy, did not want the yearend service, nor did I want to pay the latest invoice. Rather, I requested a manager return my call. We did receive a return call from Cathy. I explained their service was not even meeting reasonable expectations. Furthermore, the lawn has ever increasing sections being overtaken by weeds. She went on to explain the weather was to blame. It is what we hear every time we call. It is too hot, it is too cold, there is too much rain, etc. They never take any ownership for their poor work product. As a small business owner myself, I would have started the conversation by saying I am sorry-lets work together towards a solution. How can we improve our service and make this right? Instead, we were told we should move forward the the fall service and, our account was four days in arears. Now that is exceptional customer service! Do not use Green Carpet Lawn Service. NTS

This is the first and last season I will use Green carpet Lawn care!!!! They showed up un-announced their first 2 visits and my lawn did show improvement. When I signed up with them I told them I wanted to know in advance when they are coming so I can make sure the yard is cleared for them. On 6/9 I called a few weeks after my 2nd treatment about 2 giant stripes of weeds thriving in my lawn where they missed with the buggy they drive around in. I talked to Chris who said they would be out that day or the next to fix it . He then called back less than an hour later saying that i was scheduled early next week and asked if i could wait until then. Trying to be nice about it I said it would be fine. On 6/21 I called asking why they never showed up I was told bad weather (it rained only on Monday) and a tech. called out sick. He then promised they would be here that day or Tue. When I called today Wed. 6/23 Chris could not explain why they didn't come or call so I asked to speak with the owner but he was not there and I got the manager Kathy who did nothing but argue with me saying I was never promised they would come out because I was not printed in the schedule!!! When I questioned her about them just showing up she said that I must have told them not to call before they come because their policy is to call before each visit. Which is just a BS lies as she is the one I spoke to when I called to sign up. She went on trying to tell me weeds may still pop up etc. and when I tried to interrupt her to tell her it obvious it was where their buggy missed not random weeds popping up she told me to SHUT UP so she could finish her speech!!!! Which she did ,talking over me with absolutely no interest in what I was trying to tell her. YES SHE ACTUALY TOLD ME TO SHUT UP SO SHE COULD FINISH HER SPEECH !!! She then went on saying she MIGHT be able to get someone out in the next week or so . When I pressed the point of I now have to wait another week or more to fix a problem I called in about 2 weeks ago and already had 2 broken promises that they would be here she told me that their employees do not lie and I was never promised that they would come out because she has no print out of it. (BS!!). She then said if I think I was lied to she just would cancel my contract!! I told her I was and now am being lied to and would like them to bring be a check for the remainder of my PRE-PAID service and she hung up on me!!! How somebody with such nasty disposition can be a SERVICE manager is beyond me!! I have a feeling that not only am I not going to get the weeds killed THAT I ALREADY PAID FOR to be dead, I seriously doubt I will ever see my refund for the services I PRE-PAID for that will never happed. I should have read the reviews before I signed on NOT after I found there were problems!!

We used Green Carpet Lawn Care for many years and were satisfied with the results for the most part and, until now, my rating of this service would have been good. However, this past season, after spending a total of $2500 for fertilization, weed and insect control (including $300 for grub prevention) our opinion has changed. In early September, we noticed a large area where the lawn was beginning to die. We suspected that the problem was being caused by grubs so we called the company. When the owner finally came to inspect it, he did, in fact, confirm that grubs were present. He told us they would come back and reapply grub control for ANOTHER $300. When we protested, stating that it seemed apparent from the pattern of dead lawn that the area had been missed in the initial application, he reduced the fee to $200, saying that was his best offer. He said there is no warranty that grub control will last all season...really?? Then why does their invoice state "season long protection against grubs"? And, why would anyone pay $300 if that weren't the case? The only qualification was that the lawn needed to be watered with in 3 days - and it most definitely was! After so many years as loyal customers of Green Carpet (and referring friends and neighbors), we were shocked by this complete lack of willingness to resolve the problem. Clearly, this owner has forgotten the meaning of the term "Customer Service". We will most definitely be taking our business elsewhere next year.

Highly educated professional Joe gave specific details on the services he could provide to rectify my lawn diseases. Punctual, and polite, but most importantly made excellent recommendations regarding fruit and flowering trees as an added bonus as the purpose of the visit was on the lawn but educated me on other services. Highly recommend.

Green Carpet was knowledgeable, friendly and courteous. They were not the cheapest but I felt they were a good value for what I was being provided. I felt I could trust what they were saying.

They did Core-aeration and over seeding. The reason value for money is a 3 is because, I am yet to see the results (fingers crossed all works out well). I did find it a little expensive ( For 7250 Sq.ft I paid $370 plus approx.). Jason was the person I dealt with. He was highly professional, very informed and knowledgeable and congenial. He answered all of my questions patiently and also provided the after care instructions. He supplied some extra left over seeds in case I need them for the spring. Very thoughtful and customer service oriented. It was a very pleasant experience.

They did an excellent job had another LCC who did nothing to get rid of the weeds.. In one application they got rid of 99% of all weeds and the last co just never seemed to care
