I waited over a month to write this review to be fair and accurate. I hired Green Lawn and Victor to lay new Zoysia sod. He was not the cheapest quote I received but after negotiating, he was able to come down to close the other quotes I received. I went with Victor and Green Lawn due to the professional way he conducted the quoting process. I had St Augustine in bad shape which i was replacing with Zoysia SOD. We agreed and I signed the PO to remove, till and add top soil before laying 1500sq FT of sod as well as rolling, adjusting sprinklers, adding a metal border between the neighbors and a Iron Treatment. Victor had to reschedule several times due to sod availability has the farm. On the day of the install Victor did not show up, he sent his crew who looked very very young, maybe just out of high school. The first thing they did was remove the my Bermuda from the boulevard which was NOT part of the job. My grass on he boulevard was perfectly fine. I asked the installer and he said he made a mistake and patched it with the Zoysia. Not happy about it. Next he took his String Trimmer and cleared the St Augustine. Then he used a rack and racked the area. No tilling of the soil was done. I expressed concern that the St Augustine will come back since they were still in the soil. He said he will look at it again but did not do anything. He added top soil ONLY to the areas that were not level and that was the end of Day 1. Next next day, same crew came and laid the sod. I expressed concerns that the sod is spaced to far apart, he said he will take a look at it and nothing was done. They rolled the lawn, added iron treatment and installed the border. The border was installed incorrectly, it was not stable and way too high. Also the border was is NOT straight at all. I expressed my concern to the installers they said they will come back the next day to fix. They came and tried to make the border lower but didn't make much process. They ended up breaking my neighbors inground sprinkler while doing this. Called Victor to express my concern he said he will send his crew out again to fix with the proper tool. I waited on the day of the appointment and they never showed up. Called Victor again and express how upset I was. I asked where are his guys at which he replied by saying *yea* and gave me the silent treatment. He always said I *jewed* him on the pricing at which I got very upset at his derogatory comments. He said he will send out his crew to fix all my concerns. I had already mentioned the concerns about the nontilled soil, the gaps in the sod, and border. His crew did not show up again stating he is having problems renting the machine to fix the border. When they did show up the following week, I did not see any tool, it was just a hammer that they pounded the border with. They did no other work. At this point, I was sick and tired of dealing with Victor and his crew and just took it as a loss. I have reached out to several other reputable landscaping companies for advice on fixing my SOD and they said this is straight Mal-Practice and should file a formal complaint with the authorities and BBB. I do have all my communications saved, pictures, and the PO that I signed. As I have said, I have waited 5 and a half weeks to write this review to see how the sod turns out. But after my conversation with other professionals, I am very disheartened that I have been taken advantage of and ask that no one else make the same mistake as me.

1. Delivered dry grass pads that we sent back for greener ones. 2. 6 weeks now and still large, huge spots of grass that did not grow at all. Quality questionable. 3. Was Very stressful for me to get them to complete desired and paid for coverage. 4. Make sure to Have them draw out the area to be covered then agree. 5. Installed without soil and no quality control overseen by a supervisor. 6. Called several times to change out the area that did not grow out. No returned calls. 7. Afraid, will get a letter from HOA.

There was a little bit of a hiccup with a sprinkler line but the team brought in a specialist and made it right.

My review is few months late but they did an excellent job cleaning up the weeds in our yard. Very reasonable rates. I would highly recommend Green Lawn of Texas to anyone.

Victor listened to and addressed my concerns concerning the project. He kept me apprised of the process from start to end. I was surprised to see Mr. Aglipax work alone with the task. Victor came out and gave us a quote on the same day we posted our request for a service professional. He gave us a reasonable quote and the work was scheduled within a few days. We were kept up-to-date on when our work would get done. The work was done and met our expectations and Beyond. Eli laid the sod and was very instrumental in telling us how to keep it growing. Highly recommend this company.

Although the workers who came were very respectful, I believe the project was beyond their skill level. We had them come out 3 times to redo how sod was laid. The owner came only the first time to take measurements and never came back to the site - had to speak to him via FaceTime to show issues with the project. Ultimately issues were resolved but the quality of work was not as expected.

This company's price was in the middle of other quotes. However, the expertise and knowledge of the owner was impressive. He got back to me promptly with his quote and followed up. The young man who actually prepped the yard and laid the sod was efficient and conscientious. He did an excellent job. I was also provided instructions on how to water for the next month to insure the growth and stability of the grass. Neighbors even asked the installer for a business card to replace their lawn.
