    Beware, they do not follow through with their promises unless you list out exactly what you agreed upon during their quality assurance call. I was told that I would get a nicer thermostat and insulation installed in the cabinet. Neither were done. They also took 3 days to install instead of taking 1 day like they assured me over and over. I missed two extra days of work because of them with no compensation or discount. They were late up to 2 hours on one of the days. I would not recommend them to others. Their installation job was less than good. The cost was okay, a bit expensive for what I got. Good responsiveness to phone calls.

    The service technician tried to convince my 93 years old father in law that he needed over $13,000 of unneeded repairs. I hired another company who repaired the unit for $725. Beware of this company!

    I have not received a copy of the contract as of yet. I have contacted them many times asking for my copy of the work to be done. I signed a contract via a computer pad. I was told I would get my copy via e-mail the following day. That did not happen (First red flag.) Heater and A/C installed on a Friday and Saturday. (Second red flag), I was told that the heater and A/C were working just fine late Saturday (6:00 PM). However, I did not see any change in temperature at the time. I am an old man, shame on me, to let this guy con me into thinking that the heater and A/C were working. When in fact he knew it was not working. The only thing working was the fan. GreenStar told me that they would get someone out to fix the problem Monday. (red flag #3) That did not happen. The repair guy showed up Tuesday. He found that that system was overfilled to the point that the system could not work. He filled it at the correct level. It seems to be working OK now. However, I will not be doing business with GreenStar in the future.

    Was completely taken advantage of by this company. We had a one year old water heater that was still under warranty but labor was not covered so we called Greenstar . I assumed the water heater was broken as we had no hot water he charged me $1,500 just for the labor but failed to tell me I had a leak from the pipe leading to the water heater which was causing the water to build up long story short the next day the water was back so had a friend refer me another Plummer. He instantly said we were ripped off because the leak was the issue not the water heater and could not believe a Plummer would not fix the leak before the water heater was installed and said more than likely the water heater he replaced was fine and we were taken advantage of. Do not use this company
