Communication for this company both with the customer and between the sales rep and the owner is not a strong point for them. There were several things that were changed and the lack of follow up to let me know along the process was absolutely terrible. They ended up charging me more for cleaning heads that was supposed to be part of the estimate. They also failed to keep me updated throughout the process. Had to pay for a LED light that they were not able to install which I am now trying to get a refund for. There are other reasons I would not recommend them but I do not have space available

Frank & Greg were very responsive to any questions. The crew cleaned up every day. It was a pleasure to go through the process with them. We are so happy with the new outdoor space.

Big Splash pools did an awesome job on my pool refinishing! They came when they said they would, finished on time. They were friendly and professional. Cleaned up everyday but more than that did their job in such a manner that there was not much to clean up. I would highly recommend them. My "new" pool looks amazing.

From beginning to completion a very professional and personable job. I am very concerned about getting the perfect pool for my money and my house. They arrived right on schedule, drew out the configuration of the pool, deck, and cage and were very exacting in determining my wants and needs as well as my expectation of the highest quality construction and finish. They have been very easy to work with, to keep in contact with, and to keep me updated during the process. They also offered me many suggestions about the pool design and amenities that I had never even considered that make the pool so much more enjoyable. I would use them again and may in the near future at another house I have in the area. Great Job. Thanks.

Started earlier then scheduled, Beautiful diamond bright finish, Installed salt generator and helped us with the new system, Answered any questions we had. Nice job and good price.

Too long to complete project.

Nice guys but poorly managed. Original estimate to install small patio was 1.5 weeks after deposit, but the simple patio took 13.5 weeks to complete! Numerous times they did not keep appointments. Poor communication between owner, sales person and workmen led to a major error and a thwarted error as I had to intervene when they were going to make another mistake. The workmen are competent. I would not employ this contractor again. More expensive than some competitors despite unreliable relation with time.

I am extremely happy with the job Gritz did! I would recommend them to anyone looking for a pool resurfacing or remodel!

Gritz Development was very professional, and did an excellent job resurfacing our pool. It looks brand new, and the water is now sparkling against the new blue/white speckled finish!! The Diamond Brite material should last us another 20 years - Hurray! It prompted me to invest in a new patio set, and next year I'm planning to refinish the lanai in Travertine tile, while my husband is dreaming about an outdoor kitchen...our grandchildren and the rest of the family love our outdoor oasis a lot, and want to spend their summer vacations with us every year, so this is money well-spent. Plus, it adds value to our home. Wait till the kids see the new salt generator...no more chlorine tablets- feels like lake water!

That the quality of their work is extremely professional. This is a company that I would recommend to my family and friends. They envisioned exactly what my family wanted and made it happen.

Greg Jarque showed up for the estimate interview on time, and explained in detail everything they were going to do. The work was completed on time.

When you hire a contractor to handle a complete pool remodel, you want honesty, integrity, knowledge, and communication. Greg Jarque and Big Splash Pools delivered all of this and more. My job was unique to say the least. His knowledge allowed him to create a plan to address all my projects needs. Greg completed my pool project on time and on budget. He communicated with me through out the process. I live in another city and I could not be on site for most of the work, Greg sent pictures, videos, and connected with me daily to ease any stress I had. Through out the project things came up

This is a family owned and run business. They showed up every day on time. They also explained everything they were doing. Very professional and honest. i would hire them again for any other concrete job. They finished the job on time and cleaned up after. It was very comforting to find an honest contractor. I had this work performed for my home in Florida while I was still back in NJ. Greg and his staff we extremely responsive, responsible, and committed to quality work and my complete satisfaction. He sent pictures of the work progress on a daily basis to keep me informed. As the work on the pool progressed, and I got to know Greg, I had them do some additional work that was originally unplanned, but needed. His prices were more than competitive and he finished everything on time as promised. Highly recommend to anyone needing pool refinishing and refurbishment of the pool/lanai area!

this company was on time & schedule, very efficient workers, products are of a high grade, & owner agreed to fix some minor nics in pool deck & tiles which was completed. Overall grade by homeowner was 100% satisfaction---would recommend highly.

It is very hard to have work done when your not there to handle it. I talked to Greg and my gut feeling was to go with him. I'm glad I did because even though I Put him behind schedule he still got the job done on time. He stayed there until the job was completed. He got the job done at the time it was stated. One Week. Needs to learn to clean up after themselves. Should not have to point out certain flaws when it is visible to the homeowner and 3 employees never saw it.

With ALL contractors money is requested up front. No problem. HOWEVER balance should under no circumstances be released until the job is completely done, down to the most minute detail. Greg and his crew were MOST professional but in the future I will establish better rules. Example. Indicate date of commencement and date of completion.

Greg and the guys frmo Grtiz were professional and gave an outstanding product for the price. They followed through with what they said and there were no hidden fees are issues. You shoudl hire them for any patio or paver work.

Greg (the company owner). Came out the day after I called and provided an estimate, and started work the day after I contacted him to accept. The work included removing the entryway concrete pad, which turned out to be part of the foundation pour, rather that a walkway pour. It was much thicker and denser than originally thought, and took many more hours than planned to remove. Greg never wavered, he did the job for the original estimate, in a timely and professional manner. The results were outstanding, and I would highly recommend Greg for any general contracting work.
