Sod Installation
Excellent price, polite hard working employees. Started and finished the job in the time frame discussed, despite excessive heat. Left after a full cleanup and giving tips on what to do to keeping my new lawn looking great.

Office staff was friendly and efficient. Project was completed in a timely manner. We were very satisfied with the work that was done. During the course of the project they were very open to our suggestions and completed those jobs to our satisfaction. They did a good job with the clean-up. Our backyard looks great!!

Initially, I was unsatisfied (after the estimate was provided) with the work quality, communication, and professional of the crew. Damage was done to my sprinkler system and the repair took too long. However, Ground Control, after a helpful dialogue about the work and some deficiencies worked with us to get the job right. I did appreciate Doug's responsiveness and effort to correct problems. I'd be wary of recommending them for this kind of project to someone because of my initial experience. That being said, Ground Control demonstrated professionalism and an acumen for customer service in the last half of the project. The communication improved greatly as did the dedication and attention to detail by employees (in particular Alex).

Do not use this company. They have a long history of not refunding money from people. Some of the things they do is inflate prices on parts of their estimates. Example include charging up to $1000. more on pop-drains while giving you a decent sod price. Another example would be overestimating the amount of sod you need. They have been banned from Newport Estates in Berlin Twp. Monroe county for failing to perform Reputable work. Examples include not being able to fix water leaks in sprinkler systems, refusing to return deposits to customers who no longer wished to use them, and being sued by multiple customers. Use at your own risk.

Hired Ground Control Property Maintenance to level and grade area around newly installed pool. Job was somewhat more work intense than originally planned due to ground condition. Crew arrived as scheduled and completed the job in two days. Steve R. and crew were polite and professional. Very happy with the job they did. Price was reasonable for the amount of work they had to do. Would definitely hire them again.

They worked on my front, back and side yards. They took off the original grass, added top soil, placed sod, installed new sprinkler system and planted some flowers. Overall, the highlight of this company is its people s gentle and respectful behavior when you are communicating with them; from the sales team to the lead member to the sprinkler installer to the owner. The final results were good. However, it took longer than anticipated due to some obstacles from miss dig, sudden broken equipment and lack of communication at times. I would strongly suggest requesting a tentative job date and not keep it open. Just have a date point of reference. It is possible that the workers may come without notifying you first. Overall pricing seemed reasonable. The team made sure to fix and complete everything that was requested and what needed to be done.

I had hired this company to install a sprinkler system and sod my yard. After viewing my neighbors yard I realized the quality for the job was not there. The sod had a lot of separated seams and the sprinkler system leaked. The company tried to fix the sprinkler system and finally said they did not know what was wrong with it. I never received a contract for my job. I tried over several weeks to get my deposit back and the owner refused to give it to me. I am now the second person that I know to sue this company. Use them at your own risk. The other issue is the low ball price I received on the sod. Price was not nearly as good as it seemed. They raised the price of the pop up downspouts to compensate for the low price. My price was about $500 higher than my neighbors and $1000 higher than other quotes I received.

They were at my rental property to do the project on April 27, but they didn't do everything that was agreed to. I called the president of the company several times. They completed the work on July 27, after I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

They are not reliable. They have not returned to make adjustments to yard timber installed a couple of weeks ago. This job was already paid for in full. Not good!
