Ground Effex

The Flagstone that was removed in order to install a new drainpipe was returned to its original appearance and the job completed in one day, What I thought was a daunting project was handled in a timely manner and looks great! To top it off, our lawn needed mowing because our mower was being repaired, so that job was taken care of at the same time. Planning to have Ground Effex do some more work for us in the future.

Dave was very easy to work with. He helped us create the design for our patio, select stone and the installed everything quickly. Patio and fire pit looks great!

I could have not chosen a better company than Ground Effex to have this job done. The patio looks absolutely amazing. Fast work , a great price. I wish all our projects turned out like that. I would definitely hire them again.

A few years ago I became unable to mow my lawn, and most everyone was on their 5th cut when I contacted Ground Effex. They graciously accepted the challenge of taming my unruly, high and thick lawn, coming back a few times the same week to get it not only under control and respectable, but beautiful. They also perform a yearly miracle on my Front Bed landscaping which I'd just assume napalm but which they carefully weed, trim and beautify to the point I can't believe it's part of my property. They are true professionals and operate at the highest level of skill. I'm so grateful I found them through HomeAdvisor and don't hesitate to recommend them.

He was running behind, but Mr. Davis did call to keep me posted. When he arrive, got right to hit and gave me a good quality services. I enjoyed meeting him & he secured having me as a customer.

Went over and beyond our expectations as far as quality and design. Price was comparable to others. Would definitely re-hire and recommend to others.

Project consisted of adding topsoil to sunken areas around large trees where roots were exposed while maintaining natural grade/slope of yard. Prompt curtious service. Though price was slighly high . I initially thought it would take longer to complete and based my cost factor on man hours being more. However this is the only contractor that actually showed. On guy left a message and another called, didn't show, rescheduled and didnt show again.

They came out to cut my lawn when they said they would. They did a great job, The prices are very reasonable. I would definitely recommend them.

Ground Effex came in with the most reasonable estimate. The work was done ahead of schedule, and was top quality. The patio looks amazing. We selected all of our options using small samples and photos and Dave's vision and skill really exceeded our expectations.

David, owner of Ground Effex, and his associate did a very good job with the building of the retaining wall. David was very friendly and professional. However, I had a concern about the drainage pipe installed behind the wall to divert any water. It seemed to be blocked. I tried contacting Ground Effex via email. His response, a week later, was he would call me. That didn't happen. I guess since he was done with the job and got paid there was no need to get back to me. I will resolve my concern myself. If you can do a job yourself do it. It will be done right the 1st time. Sorry David!

Excellent Service

Dave is very professional and nice man, he is an artist. The wall he installed is just perfect for my yard.

I needed someone to come out quickly because my mower broke and the yard was overdue. Dave came out the next day even though he was a day behind due to rain!! His guys lept from the truck and got to work. One did the trimming while two were on mowers. Everything looked great in no time. And the price was extremely fair especially since I didn't sign a contract for the summer. I was just going to use this company until my mower is fixed but now I am considering keeping them in full time. Impressed!

Dave hasn't cut my lawn yet but so far after speaking with him on the phone, I am very impressed and looking forward to him servicing my property. He was punctual, professional and a pleasure to speak with. Thank you

I was immediately impressed when Dave called me within 5 minutes of posting my request on service magic. I have been a homeowner for years and have had many experiences with contractors (almost all bad)... Ground Effex is the best company I have ever hired. Our patio needed to be completely re-done. Not only did they give us the best price, but, they came when they said, completed the work within 3 days, cleaned up after themselves and did and amazing job! I can't wait until I need something else done but for now they are also maintaining my lawn. It is refreshing to know that there are still people around who take pride in their work!!

Dave was very helpful with regard to my mom's needs as an 82 year old woman. He offered suggestions in order to make it easier for her when walking on the walkway and going up the steps to the porch while keeping asthetics in mind as well.

Dave was very easy to work with and pays very close attention to the smallest details. He removed an old concrete sidewalk, installed a new paver walkway around our deck and joined it to an existing patio. He also built flower beds and installed lighting.
