Did a good job

After I told John we wanted him to do the work, I asked how him how he preferred to be paid. He said cash was best but he wouldn't turn down a check. The bank teller recommended a money order and I thought it was a good idea to be able to have a record of paying. When I told John I would be paying with a money order it became an issue even though all he had to do was go to a nearby bank to cash it. In the end he accepted the money order, which I gave him because he said they would be finishing up that day. Instead of finishing, they left after I went back inside, leaving my fence taken apart, the stump grinder was in my yard, and I found my wheelbarrow in the bed of the dump truck they left parked in my yard. They came back to finish the next afternoon, but when they left there were still five large pieces of the tree trunk in my yard. The two men with John were very polite, hard workers, and other than the wood they left behind, they did a great job of cleaning up. I am pleased with the work that was done, but because if my experience with John, the owner, I would not recommend this company to anyone.

Ground Pounders were unable to start on time because of rain delay; however, they worked diligently and went beyond what was expected. We were impressed with the cleanup effort. Great job and would definitely use them again.

The job took longer than predicted due to various factors like weather, equipment but it was done eventually. John is easy to work with.

They were willing to schedule the job very quickly. He gave me a very reasonable quote and stuck to that price despite doing a little extra work by cutting down a small tree that wasn't visible initially. My only complaint is that for a few days prior to our job we had very heavy rain in our area, the work crew pulled their truck into the backyard, which was very soft, this left depressions in the yard.

They did exactly what I asked for and the clean up was excellent

We had a lot of work done. Two trees removed, 1 very close to a power line, the other between the garage and fence. John's team did an excellent job protecting our lawn with pads under the equipment, for four nights! They pruned back two other trees and did so with the health of the tree and a balanced look in mind. Really good hard working crews, excellent communication with John the whole time.

They were very friendly nice gentlemen, did what they said they were going to do. They worked quickly and were prompt.
