Terrible job.

I have confirmed for work to start after the sale of my house but it has been paid for already.

We just had Jayson Wright, Service Manager, to our residence to do an inspection of our egress window and a potential water issue on one of the basement walls. Jayson did an excellent job and explained everything that we were concerned about. I fully recommend Jayson Wright and Groundworks for any and all basement issues involving waterproofing.

I hired Ohio Basement Authority to put in a French drain system around the perimeter of the interior walls of the basement, it was supposed to take 1 crew 1 day. It took 3 crews and 5 days. On day 1 they jackhammered the perimeter and laid half the drain tile and left at 2:00 for a family emergency. I checked the progress and found that the weep holes that were supposed to be drilled on every block had not been drilled at all. Day 2, no show. Day 3 crew 2 (different people), they removed the previous laid tile to drill the weep holes Day 4, no show Day 5, crew 3 (different people) they finished the job The worst part of it all is that the plastic barrier hung to keep the cement dust from an adjacent room had fallen, and they did not bother to put it back up. Rained the day after they supposedly fixed the leak and water was in the basement. For the last 4 days have been trying to get a customer service call back to have them come back and fix the issue . Very poor customer service and for that reason I would not recommend this company. Quick to sell your service but not quick to respond to issues after they ? cash the check ?

I scheduled a foundation service with Ohio Basement Authority in April 2026 and signed up with GreenSky. Then I cancelled the service within 3 days. No one from Ohio Basement Authority ever performed any work in my basement at all, ever. I spoke with the manager (Twinsburg location) and he confirmed it was cancelled and I was within my rights to cancel without penalty. However, GreenSky still sends me a bill of over $5000. I have called and emailed Ohio Basement Authority over 5 times and they have confirmed with me that my account is cancelled and have said the ~$5000 (which is now accruing late fees) was credited back to my account. This is obviously false as GreenSky keeps billing me. GreenSky opened an investigation with Ohio Basement Authority. Please all I need is the ~$5000 credited back to the account so I can close it for a service that never happened in the first place.

Easy to work with. Good communication. Very easy process and totally transformed my patio and porch. Ryan R and Bryan K did a great job for us.

Absolute WORST experience I’ve ever had with a company! They are extremely predatory and convinced my 63 year old mother that she had to sign the contract THAT DAY, and she didn’t even understand what she was signing! The first day they were scheduled to do the job, they showed up hours late, and said they “weren’t the right crew to do the job”. We then had to wait a couple weeks for a different crew to come, and when they came they said they weren’t the right crew to do the job either!! 2 weeks later, ANOTHER crew came and said THE SAME EXACT THING!!! So after 3 times of getting the runaround, I was completely FED UP with this horrible company and decided to cancel the contract. They FINALLY did let me cancel, but are demanding we still pay $600! After all they put us through over 3+ months, they had the nerve to charge us $600 for an outlet! PLEASE AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS! All they care about is dollar signs, not about the QUALITY of their work or customer service.

The sales rep. was very knowledgeable, and offered additional services that others had not. The price was fair, lower than others, the installers were excellent! They were efficient, skilled, and left the basement with no mess. They cared about the quality of their work and it showed. I would highly recommend them.

We were really impressed with Ryan R. and Bryan K. We needed our concrete patio cracks repaired, even, and leveled. They did an outstanding job! Very professional and explained everything to us in detail and asked if we had any questions prior to starting the work. Cleaned up any mess as they were working and after they finished.
