The Grout Guy

Hired The Grout Guy to re-grout my tub. He missed a few spots and would not come back to fix it. He scheduled with me on the 3 different days to do so and never came. Always an excuse. Super unprofessional. I do not recommend him.

We hired them to remove and install new tile in our bathroom. We chose Brian to help support local businesses during the pandemic. Before selecting our 12 x 24 tile, we confirmed Brian was experienced with installing this size tile, on at least two separate occasions. During the installation, he mentioned he has not often worked with 12 x 24 tile. I thought he was making a joke considering he confirmed twice prior; but, unfortunately, it turned out he was not joking. The final product was very disappointing. Many of the tiles were uneven. Brian requested additional fees since it took longer to work with the 12 x 24 tile. Based on the quality of the work performed, I paid him an amount slightly above the original estimate. In hindsight, I should not have done this. After a local realtor inspected our house to prepare for a potential future sale, she recommended that we have someone remove the tile he installed and reinstall new tile. In addition, several months later we started having significant water leaks between the tile. I requested a refund from him to offset the cost associated with correcting the tile and water leaks but he refused. A very disappointing outcome and experience.

Very Professional and Friendly

The Grout Guy did a very thorough tile cleaning and re-grouting in a truly really ugly shower ... it looks wonderful now. He also re-grouted a bathtub and area around another bathroom. Additionally, grouted in the kitchen at a backsplash surround. He did more than was originally planned and did not charge for the extras. We are very pleased. He left the areas very clean as well. This work was just done yesterday. Looks Great!! Thank you Brian!

Very rushed, sloppy, and inconsiderate. He couldn't even be bothered to use a bucket for rinsing, he instead used the sink, without my permission, and made a mess of it and the mirror. He hardly cleaned up when finished and left the entire bathroom a mess that I needed to scrub. He wouldn't even fix a corner that is obviously not right. He was quick to charge me down to the minute, for the time spent. I would never recommend him for any job. He is that awful!

he was sloppy and rushed. I called him after he left and asked if he would come back to fix an area that was particularly messy and he never returned my calls and texts. Didn't stand by his work.

Brian was always on time and communicated well. Good quality work too.

Excellent service. My kids shower was leaking water through the ceiling in my center hall. Made an appointment for Brian to give estimate of cost and how much time it would take to fix. He showed up exactly on time and quickly went to work. He worked from 11 am until 3pm but did not disturb anyone. We hardly knew he was here. Came back a couple of hours later to wipe down walls and check his work. Cost is very responsible. It was one of the few times that I did NOT feel like someone had their hand in my pocket ripping me off. I hired him to come back to repair grout on one of my other bathrooms. I would recommend him to anyone. He is a professional and really nice clean guy. HIRE Chatham

Good job but very budy so there are time constraints but he works long and hard.
