In November Gruwell Roofing replaced the roof on my house converting to a ridge vent and adding soffit intake vents as needed. Erin and his crew kept me up to date on all issues they encountered as they did the necessary work such as pointing out the deteriorated flashing around my chimney and inquiring about a roof fan that no longer was needed. They made the appropriate repairs to both once I gave my okay in a timely manner. Their attention to detail, the depth of their knowledge and their daily communication made the reroofing a stress free project for me. The entire crew treated me with kindness and respect. Previously I had Gruwell Roofing put in a Solar Tube working with Matt. He also kept me informed as his crew worked on that project. I greatly appreciate working with this talented and skilled family. I highly recommend them.

Gruwell just finished our roof and we are extremely satisfied. They went above and beyond by replacing poorly installed plywood, repairing damaged chimney flashing, and repairing a broken rafter in our attic. The lead roofer texted me progress pictures throughout the project so that i knew exactly what repairs they made. We got quotes from 4 roofing companies and these guys were not the lowest, but the best value because they use better materials (malarkey shingle - made in Oregon) and install a ridge vent. They are a smaller operation so I had confidence my roof was going to be installed by the Gruwell themselves, and not get sub-contracted out.

Gruwell was great with communication before, during and after the roofing project was done. They were clean and efficient during the project leaving very little mess! High quality work, and nice people to work with!

My wife and I highly recommend Gruwell Roofing Co. in the Eugene/Springfield Oregon area! They are in high demand but do outstanding work and are worth the wait. The individual workers are all well trained and skilled and they work well as a team. Owners, supervisor and workers communicate well.
