We’ve had Guardian for 5months. For 5months we have been without a smoke detector. We have called begging someone to come out and replace the faulty detector they installed. Guardian said all they can do is put in a request for a tech to call us to schedule an appointment since the people who installed our equipment were contracted out. We were told to remove the detector ourselves and turn off the sound setting.
We are currently looking into getting out of our contract since they are in violation of their service agreements and are looking into reporting to the better business bureau.
We do not recommend the company. The service tech who installed our equipment stopped taking our calls the moment they finished installation and Guardian says there is nothing the can do.

This security company is awful! They come door to door and sell you the moon and the starts to get you signed up without being upfront you are signing a 5 year contract! Then if something on your system isn't working (for example my doorbell camera) they want to freaking charge me $99 to come look at!! Don't use them unless you like being screwed!

Extremely happy with Guardian Protection. From Customer Service to upgrades they are always on point. The CSRs are always helpful when calling. I have the newest and greatest technology equipment to include automation. I love being able to monitor my home when I’m away, turn on lights and speak to whom ever is in the house through the Alarm panel. Couldn’t suggest going with any other company.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM.
The tech that came lied to my wife that he talked to be about everything and I was okay with 5 year contract and had her sign for me. She said she asked him twice if I knew and he lied and said yes.
I don’t find out till other security companies told me about the 5 yr contract and to get out before I’m begging that I would have listened. I never personally signed anything. I am talking to lawyers and looking into filing with the state and bbb and anyone else.

I would not recommend them. Their contractors never showed up and they don't even have their own installers. They hire other contractors to do their work.

They nickel and dime you. I get charged for every little thing, including when they miss an appointment. I am counting down the days until my contract is up.
