The owner came to my home Thursday, Oct 24 and assessed the problem. After putting chemicals in the pool in anticipating entering the pool (assumed Friday) he left. Home Advisor called Tuesday Oct 29 for status. I said **I will tell you if I ever see him again** Five minutes later he called to explain why he had not visited. After more discussion he offered to give me a referral number to call. I took it. I have no idea when he might have called if not for Home Advisor status call.

"After arriving at Jim's property, I discovered that the pool was green and unsafe for me to enter and work on. We discussed the need to add chlorine to the water as a necessary first step for me to work on the pool and that I would need the pool to have water added to it and would need to come back later to let the chlorine do its job. I also noted that his pool had a blockable main drain cover installed and that that would need to be replaced immediately because those have killed a number of children over the past decade and that they are not safe to use. He refused to replace the main drain cover. I explained that for liability reasons"

I hired them to work on a pool when the home wasn't occupied and they always communicated what they were doing, when they were done, etc.
