Gulf Coast Total Renovations, LLC

I had a written contract for them to begin on Feb 24 2019. To date they haven't shown to do any work. I finally hired another contractor and he completed the work on time and only took just over 4 hours. I paid half of my contract up front, big mistake, they did some of the work, about 1/4. I am turning the contract over to my attorney to see if I can recoup some of my up front money.

The Gentleman promised he would provide services for the remodel of my home. We paid him in full and now work is not complete nor is the returning phone calls.

I contacted Duane and he came by and took measurements and quoted me a price for the entire painting of our house. I was satisfied with it and we scheduled a start date. His crew showed up on time and went right to work. They were great! They showed up every day until the job was complete, even came on a Saturday. They painted every room, closets, doors, trim and baseboards. They were very neat and taped off and covered everything while painting and cleaned up after every days work. They were very respectful of our property throughout the project. They completed the job in a timely manner and we are very pleased with the results. Duane stayed in contact several times throughout the project to see how things were going. I would highly recommend Gulf Coast Renovations.

Great experience. Needed popcorn ceiling removed and replaced with no textured, painted ceiling. Contacted Duane on 12/28, and job was scheduled for 1/2/19. Today’s the 10th, and the jobs complete. As the project began, my wife and I thought, if there ever was a time to add/modify our ceiling lighting, now would be the time to get that done as well. Duane sent us a very competitive estimate, and said he could take care of that for us as well. Very impressive to coordinate an additional, rather involved project, without it dragging on for weeks. Pleasure to work with, and would highly recommend. Thank you!

Our exterior home painting was a huge job. They did an excellent job. Duane goes above and beyond to make sure things are done right. And if it ain't right, he'll make it right. Very easy to work with. Using them again on another (tree) project. I will consider them first in all future projects.

Duane did a fantastic job installing a gravel driveway at our home. I had a very tight timeline and he met it without any problems--my gravel was laid and tamped down in one day. He did an excellent job moving the stone into place and making sure it was rolled with large equipment to lock it into place. It looks and functions beautifully!

We worked closely with Duane. He was at all times customer focused. The product recommended and the quality of the work was exceptional. If I ever need any additional work done I would call him first!

Cleaned up , great service..

Duane, listen to us as we wanted to have a new front door and door to enter the garage!. We were able to get the doors we wanted and with a very good price! The doors are beautiful and we are so pleased. The company providing the door has beautiful products but when promised 6 weeks, it took 12 weeks we know that things happen and delays can occur the delay in communicating with US made it less positive! We wrote a letter to the company CEO, (doors) pointing out our concern that got our doors to us and our project completed. Duane tried over and over again to get this resolved so a letter got the job done! Thank you Duane for all your efforts to get the doors quicker! We love our new doors! Kathy and Lon

Responded right away Completed job exactly as Duane said. Cleaned up Great service 👍

Second job: Duane (James and his crew) did an outstanding job painting our home in Fort Walton Beach!, Duane kept us informed when (weather) would delay the timing of the painting of our home! Our thirty year home looking brand new! Duane was always in contact with us before, during and at the end of the project! Thank you so much for doing a beautiful job! We love our new doors! We needed our ceiling repaired after a major leak. The job was completed in only one day!! I can't even see where the repair was made their work was so meticulous. Highly recommend. The quote we received was more than fair and we are so happy with the result!!

Duane is nothing short of terrific! We hired another contractor about a month ago to install our quartz countertops and never heard back from them. We had company coming from out of town and wanted to have our kitchen completed before their arrival. With only a week to get everything done, Duane set up everything in one day and the project was complete in a week. We were getting discouraged prior to hiring Gulf Coast Total Renovations but they made it happen! The countertops look wonderful and they left our kitchen in better shape than before by fixing our improperly installed dishwasher and recommending a new disposal as our other one was very old and damaged. I would recommend this company to anyone and we'll definitely be looking them up for our next project!

Duane was amazing -- first of all he called shortly after I contacted Homeadvisor, met me the next morning to check out the job and give me a price, and started the job the following morning! It is so great to have a reliable contractor in the local area!

Overall, Iam happy with their work. Price was good compared to other bidders. As with all contractors some improvement in commention would br good.

Extremely superior workmanship

Overall, I am happy with the work they did, and I am having them come back to do my backsplash as well as my front door. The exterior of the house looks great, and my cabinets are beautiful. I realize they are busy, but they need to work on communication with the customer about scheduling the work.

I located GCTR's on line and was pleased with their reviews. From initial contact through the entire project I found everyone enthusiastic and professional. My project was a big one though nothing they couldn't handle. I especially appreciated the companies ability to troubleshoot and overcome problems that inevitably arose and still bring the project in on time, and cleanup was neat and complete. High praises for all departments involved from Administrative, Carpentry, Painting and Tree Cutting. I would hire them again and have already recommended them.

Great job but a bit messy on cleanup

Good work.

We were very pleased with GCTR's work. They were very professional, did an excellent job and finished ahead of schedule. They also returned after the job to install a door that was backordered just like they said they woulld. I expect to hire them for future projects.

Very messy and we had moving boxes and they soaked the bottom of some and had to repack because they ruined them with water! Needs to be more careful in final cleanup. Caused me extra work I didn’t expect or need! Ceiling came out beautiful though

I have delt with a lot of contractors in this area. Duane at Gulf Coast Total Renovations is the best. The prices are fair, the work is excellent and my project was finished in a timely manner. Duane personally stayed in touch and checked on his people. We were having a Command Military Party and Duane made sure our project was complete before the party date. I highly recommend Duane Schultz for any project in his scope and we will be using him again in the near future for another up coming project. His wife Deanna is also an asset to his company and very helpful if you have selection questions.

GCTR was very professional and did a great job on our floor installation. I liked their work so much that I hired them to landscape my front yard. My neighbor liked what they were doing and hired them to do their yard also.
