DO NOT HIRE HIM! Our washing machine squeaked and squealed when it agitated so we had him come look at it for us. He said it was an easy fix and he fixed it. However, he neglected to securely attach the water hose down into the drain pipe. So when I washed a load the water leaked out of the hose onto and underneath our vinyl plank floors. The water also leaked down into the laundry room air vent and leaked all over our basement sofa and carpet. So now because of his negligence, we have THOUSANDS of dollars in water damage. Our luxury vinyl plank flooring has to be replaced. We called him and we texted him and he has not responded. I wish I would have researched him more and read his google reviews (which are bad reviews by the way) but I trusted Home Advisor and Angis List. I will no longer trust them after this experience. I will do my own thorough research to find TRUE professionals because Gundersen Appliance Repair is unprofessional and very inexperienced. I urge you DO NOT HIRE HIM. YOUVE BEEN WARNED!

James came out same day. He had to order a part because it wasn't available in Omaha, but was very transparent about shipping options and times. I ended up choosing to overnight it, and he was able to come back the next day and get the fridge up and running in no time.

Quick and professional

Showed up on time, appeared to attempt to fix my dryer. It worked for one day. It stopped working. I called to have him back to fix it and he has not returned my calls or messages. Typically he likes to receive cash so there is no transaction record. He is using Angi leads to get automated leads and then contacting them personally without going through Angi to scam Angi Leads and the customer. Would not recommend.

After 6 weeks and no honest response from my calls, I am stuck with a broken appliance and no refund for parts order. The next I meet James will be in small claims court
