These guys were very prompt and completed the job as quoted. I would recommend them to anyone.

My roof was put on in good time but the job was never completed. H and A never returned after receiving payment to clean up. My wife and I had to remove metal trimmings, screws, paper and hundreds of cigarette butts that were left on the ground. The flashing around my chimney has never been completed and is a source of water leakage under the new roof. My chimney is granite and metal flashing was put around the chimney but never secured to it. I don't believe they know how to secure it. H and A was informed prior to starting the job that the flashing on the chimney was new lead because the chimney was rebuilt last year. It would have been simple enough to lift the existing flashing and put the metal flahing underneath. Now I am faced with a situation where the metal flashing will have to be removed to properly seal the chimney to the roof. I have contacted H & A numerous times to rectify the problem with assurances that it would be done with in a week. The job has been

Clean up work would have been easier if drop cloths were spread around the house before roof work was started.

Roof/beam holding up well so far

FYI - we hired them to do a metal roof instead of asphalt. Only rated fair on cleanliness because they stated they'd be back in a week from finish date to take away large leftover material and delivery planks and to check chimney seals - they have yet to return. Otherwise they were diligent, very courteous and did pick up all the smaller, and much more numerous, pieces of stuff in the yard. I would recommend them to anyone needing a roof.

The guys from H&A Home Improvement were very knowledgeable and honest. They did the job for the price they quoted and were here when they said they would be. I would hire them again!
