Jay's Good Works

Jay did amazing work prices was fair. Did cleanup work was immaculate. I will hire him for anything. I need done and referred him to anybody. He was amazing.

I was very happy with the job

Yes, very thorough and professional. Didn’t quit until the job was done.

James was very professional and awesome to work with. He came on short notice and went over and beyond to get the job done. Works very efficiently and cleaned up after he was done. I would highly recommend him and in fact will ask him to come back to do another installation soon.

My mom needed her TV, DVD and internet restored after her apartment was painted. She is 96 years old. Her TV is a major source of her entertainment. I live in another state and would be unable to reconnect her equipment. I googled technicians and James’ business came up. I sent him a message and he called me with 30 minutes. I told him what I needed and he immediately agreed to take the small job. He arrived at my Mom’s apartment promptly around the time he promised. He even contacted Verizon to troubleshoot a problem with my Mom’s internet. My mom and her caregiver said he was very professional and courteous. And even though he had to travel from Columbia to Essex, his charges were extremely reasonable.

This was my first ever TV mount installed and Jay did a excellent job installing it. I will definitely be using his services more

A really nice experience he was very cordial, respectful and equally important professional. He didn’t cut any corners and we are pleased with the work. I’m already recommended him to my friends. I look forward to doing business with him in the near future can’t wait to our next encounter

Yes he completed effective and efficiently and explicitly communicated the usage instructions.

Very prompt and professional. The work looks amazing. J has a pleasant personality.

Had an installation scheduled for Tuesday (9/2/25) at 8am. The company never showed up and never called to cancel or reschedule. To date, I'm not sure if they forgot, were overbooked, or had an emergency. Either way, I would have expected someone from the business to comunicate in lieu of just not showing up.

Very reasonable pricing. Good quality work. Very knowledgeable

Still in process

Jay did an excellent job installing our TV. We were very pleased with his work and professionalism, and we look forward to working with him on future home projects.

Jay was very knowledgeable, professional and very easy to work with. We needed a 50in tv mounted and a good size bathroom mirror hung on the wall, he was able to take care of both in a timely fashion. We would definitely recommend Jays services and we definitely plan on using him again for our future handyman needs. We also enjoy supporting local small businesses like his, thanks Jay job well done.

Very pleased with the ongoing service so far. Jay is extremely professional and has exceptional expertise. I appreciate his responsiveness, his keen skills in listening to my needs and in breaking down the technical jargon so I can understand the requirements for the job. I look forward to referring him to others.

Jay, was the first of the five contractors to respond. We was professional, reasonable, and expedient. I put the request in about 6pm and he was at my house at 7:15pm, with the 65" hug by 7:50pm. I'm very pleased I selected him because he did an excellent job, coming from a very particular client. * side note: I chose to do my own wire management; even though he offered two solutions-relocate electrical source or wire management sleeve....again, thorough and expert.

Yes! I was very please with his work.

Did a great job, explained everything to me (more than once), job neatly done, did some additional electrical work. Very satisfied with his work! Would hire him again and would refer him to friends and family for sure.

I recently had two TVs installed, and I couldn't be happier with the experience! Jay was incredibly professional throughout the entire process. He not only handled the installation with expertise but also provided valuable recommendations that really enhanced the setup. His attention to detail and commitment to quality work truly stood out. I love the final result and highly recommend his services to anyone looking for a reliable and knowledgeable installer. Thank you, Jay, for a fantastic job!

Excellent work, finished in good time. I will be using this company again.

Awesome job. Very professional and very friendly

Jay was excellent 👌. Professional knowledgeable personable excellent customer service. I have plans for him to complete another project for my living room entertainment center installation very soon. Very nice person and I highly recommend him. Peace and Blessings

Did a great job mounting a 77 inch TV on the wall. He also picked out the mounting bracket as I had no idea which to select. He also changed out a separate wall outlet that was malfunctioning. Took his time and explained what he was doing. He also helped setup the TV once mounted.

Very Professional job well done 👍
