Great customer service and very professional.

I hired HCEC when Mike was a part-owner and the installation went OK in September. There was a heating component to the system that was not properly installed, but we didn't realize it until November. Owner Antwain Chatman came to the house and said it was a malfunctioning relay switch and he would come back to replace it. It's the last day of January now and after more than 20 unreturned phone calls Antwain has still not fixed the system. He talks a good game but doesn't know what he's doing and his customer service is zero. I would never hire this company again. Save yourself a lot of angst and steer clear of HCEC! I got Simmons out and HCEC had screwed up all the zoning wiring and damper system. Hiring HCEC was the worst thing I've ever done.

Total Rip Off! Do not use this company. I guess they were ok in the past, but now they are ripping people off. Tabitha and Antwain gave me a quote for $2,317 for digging a trench and installing a new gas line. They asked for a $800 deposit which I paid and never returned. They did say they were coming on 3 different instances but never arrived. So far and been 53 days that they took the money and did no work. I have asked for a refund a few weeks ago and they keep giving me answers like, the accounting manager is not here, I will have an answer next week, now she is sick again, etc. I keep asking for updates on my refund and now they are not answering my calls or answering my texts. So to summarize, this HCEC asked for a large deposit and did no work at all with no explanation why they missed every appointment, and they refuse to give a refund. This goes beyond just bad work, this is theft.

The heat pump installation was good. The technician that installed the system did not properly program the digital thermostat. We called HCEC to get a technician sent out to program the thermostat to get heat. After some resistance, they finally sent some.

Daniel, from HCEC, was on time, friendly, and professional. He didn't just install my dishwasher, he took the time to set it up perfectly, ensuring it was perfectly flush and level...not accepting even the slightest offset. Very impressed. We will use HCEC for all of our future plumbing needs.

Very poor communication. No show three times. Wasting my time and my tenant's time. I am a landlord trying to get a repair done from out of the area. They were quick to collect 50% of the fee to buy materials, but have been very slow to do the work, and have missed three scheduled appointments. They still have the opportunity to turn this around, and get the job done - in which case I may revise my score for quality and value. At this point, I will not use them again.

Timeliness was not their strong suit...called at 930 am to say they would arrive shortly and got here at 1210. Once they arrived they did not stop until the install was complete. Clean up was commendable.

As a tree company they are horrible. The guy that took the quote and the guy that actually cut the tree up was great. The crew hired to remove the tree horrible. The worked 1 and 1/2 days and left the rest of the tree still laying in my yard, used my equipment and left their wheelbarrow on my property. And when the guy who cut the tree down reached out to the owner, the owner was not concerned with resolving my issue of tree removal. Now they don't have too since I had to hire another crew to come in and finish the job.

Professional and would not fix anything that didn't need it.

The Tech knew what to look for. Since it was a warranty part we ended going to the originial company who ripped us off. But we will recommend this company since the Tech diagnosed the problem and did it in a timely manner.

I would not recommend this company.

HCEC found a loose electrical connection between the gas valve and the draft inducer which would not allow the furnace to work. Smart, honest thinking on HCEC's part saved me alot of money!

They did a very professional job in a timely manner. Got my old hot water heater out and the new one in with some new copper lines.

HCEC Group was very professional, courteous and thorough. The work was done in a clean and very professional manner. Plumber was very courteous and answered my questions. Everything was done in a timely manner with impeccable cleanup. A terrific group to have in your home.

Over priced and poor customer service. Didn't leave estimate on initial visit. Was told things would be done that were not. I ended up at closing the sale of the house with additional work needing to be done, and almost lost the sale.

They were very expensive to snake a plumbing line
