Excellent design and build. Great communication throughout the project. All permits and inspections were taken care of. Quality and results are top notch.

It all went smoothly. At the end of each day they always cleaned up. They were also very considerate. Always willing to answer any questions or concerns I had. I would definitely recommend there services.

Price best, but workmanship was not the best. Settled for mediocre work.

They did an outstanding job

I have dealt with a lot of contractors in my 40plus years at several homes. HD Exterior team covered all required County requirements for construction seamlessly and HOA documentation for approval. The deck and patio was completed in a timely matter. The constant removal of excess debris was done during each phase of project.

The HD Exteriors teams delivered outstanding results in replacing our existing rear deck and front porch with beautiful TREX decking. At the same time, they replaced all of the existing railings with fully coordinated maintenance-free railing. Really nice ! They also did demolition of an existing brick front stairway [which did not meet our county's code for good reason], and they then installed new front stairs with railing and additional safety features for us "senior citizen" types. It all leveraged the same high-quality TREX; but the exquisite CARE they went to in beautifully designing [per up-front concept drawings] and installing was truly a wonderful and very pleasant surprise. Special cudos to Mr. Omar and his team !! There was also a new installation of fully coordinated (i.e., TREX tpp railing) placed atop of a wall [with significant drop-off hazard] which was TOP NOTCH work, and fit in perfectly with all of their other beautiful work, AND helped us to meet Fauquier County code for safety requirements. In addition, HD Exteriors replaced siding on upstairs dormer windows and provided perfect color matching. Finally we'd like to cite the excellent customer service that each of the HD Exteriors personnel provided from start to finish. On that point, we'd like to provide dditional special cudos: To Mr. Jerimiah C. at the front-end of sales, pulling together concept drawings, helping us understand options and warranties, and nailing down contract costing. Also cudos to Mr. Mike P. at the conclusion of the projects who came out to specifically do final end-to-end Quality Assurance / Walk-through. Everybody at HD were very professional, courteous, responsive, and timely -- always arriving within 3 -5 minutes of an appointment time, even when they were coming quite a distance to get to our home. You'll see that we have provided the highest rating to each of the teams of HD professionals [importantly, extending to all HD Office Staff !] that supported our project work. Moreover, our experience with HD Exteriors has actually exceeded our expectations. We are more than pleased with the outcomes of all of the work that has been done on our home. They completed our Trex deck project in 2021 and did a fantastic job. The office staff helped us with the HOA and any other hurdles we came in contact with. The team who did the work were quick and efficient. We've been enjoying our deck for two summers now, no-maintenance needed.

To whom much is given, much is required. Luke 12:48 HD Exteriors really worked hard to ensure the siding and my deck were done well. I mean VERY well. They went above and beyond to make sure that the job was completed. I had questions, and they had answers. I had problems, and they came up with solutions. They are professional, kind, and knowledgeable. They are women and senior-friendly. They really leave it all on the field for true customer satisfaction. There were several outstanding professionals who worked hard on this project. And I know I cannot mention all of them; however, I would like to mention some of them: Edwin was a part of the team that did an excellent job on deck landing; he made sure it was done accordingly. Even though there was a slight misunderstanding in the beginning, Edwin resolved the issue in a timely manner. He also fixed whatever loose ends needed to be addressed. Kiko took his time when tasked with painting; not only did he take his time, but he also suggested that the bricks around the window should be painted, something I did not even think about. He was patient and thorough. Manuel, He was awesome, experienced, and thoughtful. He knows his stuff, and he is quiet but thorough. Anthony was punctual, experienced, and a problem solver. He was also fair and informative. I was not sure how the process worked, and he was able to walk me through it step by step, even though that was not his original role on this project. Graham is proactive; I appreciate him reaching out to me and checking on the project. It is nice to know that even though Graham is the boss, he still believes that the customer is most important. Finally, there is Leo. Leo is experienced, calm, and a problem solver. He took all my concerns and observations into account and was able to answer my questions. I can go on, but I hope the picture is clear. HD Exterior is the company you need to contact.

Quick and beautiful!

HD Exteriors replaced our 20 year-old wood deck with a beautiful new Trex deck in April. We had gotten 4 presentations from companies based on contacts we got from the Capital Home Show, and HD Exteriors was head and shoulders above all the others in design, detail, cost, and communication. Graham Jr., was our point of contact in setting our contract, and he was friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and clear. He listened to what we wanted to do, offered suggestions and didnâ t try to upsell us. We were given a start timeframe, but our actual start date was earlier, which we appreciated. Throughout the entire process of signing the contract, having questions answered, being assigned a project manager, (Jai, who was always accessible and awesome) and the actual work being done, the communication was excellent. We were notified when workers would be onsite, when inspections were scheduled, when walk-thrus were done, and had access via text to our PM. All of it was extremely well done. The deck was finished with excellent workmanship, even when they installed a style of steps theyâ d never done before. We canâ t say enough positive things about the entire company and how they operated. They were a pleasure to work with. Weâ re just sorry we donâ t have anything else for them to build!

We hired HD to build us a new deck with a screened in porch underneath. We couldn't be happier with the result and working with HD. The process was smooth and they were communicative throughout. The entire staff was professional and courteous to include the estimator, office staff, guys actually building the deck and the project managers that would stop by. Even the owner Graham stopped by to check on the project. This is a great family owned business and I highly recommend them!

We hired HD to build a small thermal flagstone patio and a sitting wall over an existing cement slab. I chose them because of their Better Business Bureau A+ rating and positive reviews, and they offered the best price for the project. It went downhill from there after we signed the contract. It is now six months from the start of the project and it is finally done and we are reasonably satisfied with the outcome. It should not have taken more than a week to complete this project if it had been done properly. We were without the use of our patio for the entire summer. There was little to no oversight, the workers were unreliable and inexperienced, work was sloppy from day one, and communication was very difficult. Two of the workers relieved themselves in the back of my property, which was disgusting and unacceptable. The general manager apologized repeatedly for the problems and even offered some kind of compensation but that never materialized. The workers also damaged our siding. HD sent someone to try and clean it, but they were unsuccessful. The company did not make any offer to replace it so we replaced the damaged siding at our own expense. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

There were a lot of people involved in the process to do the estimate, get the permits, order the material and schedule the job. The real work of building the new deck was done by two people - Eddy and Bryan. Eddy and Bryan were exceptional. They are both skilled carpenters who worked at a fast pace even as the heat and humidity got higher and higher. The new deck turned out to be very attractive and well-built. We are very happy with the end result.

Great communication before project started. Not as great when work was being completed. Some workmanship just ok, stair lights still don't work and it takes a very long time to come fix anything that was wrong or needed attention after the job was done.
