Fixed Generator Installation
Workers were very polite; wore boot covers when entering our home; left job site in clean condition. I had seem HEP trucks quite often and looked into hiring them and when I saw them listed on Home Advisor with high ratings it made my decision easy. Our home is twenty years old and needs maintenance; so I am hiring HEP for other projects: Plumbing, Electrical, Carpentry, Roof repairs, Window repairs, Drywall and Painting. I'll keep them in mind whenever I need other work done.

We moved into our house a few days ago, and bought a washing machine. When it was delivered and installed, we discovered that our bibs were leaking pretty badly. The guy who installed the washer suggested we call HEP. It was after 5 PM, a Friday, and also a holiday weekend, so we were not hopeful. In about an hour and a half, Shaun showed up. He was knowledgeable, friendly and was able to fix us up quickly. Very pleased.

Getting the system installed was a breeze. The employees showed up, completed the job in a timely fashion and were very professional. One thing to note, the included a two year service contract (spring and fall check-up), however getting them to actually show up is the challenge. I was stood up several times for the first check-up in the spring. After several rescheduling and excuses, they finally showed. As for the fall tune-up/check, they stood me up, no phone call or apology. I tried to reschedule and talk to a manager, they would not put me through and I have yet to receive my fall tune-up service and it is now almost December.

Brandon was very pleasant and I thought he did alright, however was told by Jesse that someone would come out to put in a ventilation fan, but no one came. I called and was told that a service man would be coming out that night at 6:00 p.m. I told them the whole reason we had a morning appointment was because my wife gets up at 02:30 to go to work so she would be in bed and that would not work They called the next day and told me it would be the following Monday before they came out, of course this did not sit well with me so I asked to speak with a supervisor. The office supervisor said the bigger bosses would be back in contact with me. I have never heard a word since, even though I spent a large amount of money with them. I think that the customer service needs a lot of work.

Have used HEP in the past, they have always been dependable with regards to being on time according to the time scheduled, however communication from office personnel appears to be an ongoing issue, overall HEP have always done good work, it is my opinion they are a little pricey in some areas of the work that is being performed.

After they connected the new waterline the HEP crew did not return at the end of the week to seed and straw the trench. I did not see them again for almost 3 weeks and no one from the company contacted me. The job done was satisfactory. HEP was the low bid.

The technician was honest with me about what was happening in my furnace and answered the many questions that I had. He was very friendly and easy to converse with. When it was all over, he did not charge me for the service if I bought a annual maintenance contract for $99 which included an air conditioner check and a furnace check. That is a steal in itself.

Great personal interest in my situation and the solution to the problem. Rick, Will and Chris looked for the best HVAC system at the best price and backed it up with the best warranty. Top of the line quality Carrier! Thanks for the HEP! The sales guy, Rick Lounders, really knows his stuff. I worked in HVAC a while ago and he set me right on a couple of my ideas that would have been very wrong moves. I bought top of the line Carrier heat pumps and a very pleased. Also, the installers, Eddie Hawkins and Tim Sexton, and another guy - forget his name) were very sharp and the finish job looks VERY professional! They answered every question, showed me how everything worked, and cleaned up every scrap. They even wore booties to keep from getting leaves in the house - my wife was all about that. Use me as a reference or display job anytime! Thanks to Chris, too, for helping with the deal. Those Reme Halo UV lights are great. Kevin Stevens did a quick service call for a blown fuse, 4/4 - I was happy with the speed of response & checked everything over in detail. Very nice!

Smooth customer service experience. Plumber talked me through everything and made reasonable recommendations without just trying to up-sell. Replaced 3 shut off valves under the sink for about $400. Not cheap, but understandable. Cleaned up after himself and made sure everything worked. Pleasant experience.

The HEP Service Manager assured me that my water pressure would increase if I replaced my water main. It did not. Not one single psi. I wasted $3000 on an unneeded repair. I told HEP the same day that I was dissatisfied. I contacted them two more times to see if we could come up with a remedy. They never responded. HEP made a promise. They did not deliver. But they still got my money. They do NOT meet HomeAdvisor standards.

"A plumbing system is just that, a system, and a complex one at that. The problem that we encountered at your home is the unfortunate result of two issues, each working against your goal of water pressure. We hire the highly skilled technicians, but occasionally there are problems where one problem covers up the second and similar issues. Specifically your home had low average water pressure coming from the city, and a very old water line leading into your home that was rusted inside and leaking was choking the inside of the pipe and limiting maximum flow of water. The secondary issue of low average water pressure wasn't revealed until we had fixed the first and most prominent issue, of replacing the broken and old waterline. What you need to fix the final issue is to purchase a water pressure pump that will pull the water more effectively into your home."

The guys from HEP did a great job repairing a broken pipe at our home. The communication prior to arrival was exceptional. They were running behind, but notified me often of the new estimated arrival time. The price was a bit high, but their good quality work turned out to be worth it. You get what you pay for and we wanted it fixed properly since the last plumber did not do so. Thanks HEP. The Lyons Family

Our unit went out during a very cold week. The technician called me back quickly and came out later that same day. He was friendly and explained my repair/replace options. The salesman was friendly and was flexible with scheduling my install options. The installers were sent out with the wrong equipment, but worked late into the night after they got the correct parts so that we wouldn't be without heat.

Our unit went out just before we were to leave for the holiday and they came out very late at night evaluated our situation and unfortunately we had to get a new heat pump. We had one installed by the next night. The guys worked their butt off in horrible weather to make sure we were taken care of. I highly recommend them!
