If I could give Hector Bernal (owner of RobeAna/Kayton Lee homes) zero stars it would still be too high. We hired his home renovation company (Kayton Lee homes) to do a major renovation in Feb 2022. We were told 7 months. Fourteen months later (much of that extra time our project sat untouched) he declared bankruptcy and walked away with about $50,000 of our money, not counting work that wasn’t finished or work that was done so poorly it had to be redone, including major structural, electrical and gas components. We are now $100,000 over budget and almost 2 years into this project. He erroneously tore down an original fireplace, then tried to tell me it was always part of the plan. Then, he refused to build a new fireplace and never fixed the huge hole in the roof! He installed a bathtub and tiled it in, but never installed the drain work. We had to rip out an adjacent wall to install a drain. I could give you many more examples, but I’m out of space. Hire him at your own risk!

When I started the remodel project with Robe-Ana I was concerned with the cost. However, after receiving their estimate, which was very reasonable, I decided to add some other items to the project. I had a bathroom remodel done previously by another company and had asked them what they would charge for the kitchen remodel and their estimate was over twice what Robe-Ana quoted. The quality has been excellent and the workers have always been courteous.

There were some minor issues with this project, but all issues were resolved. The owner communicated consistently with me and the final product is beautiful.

robe-ana was extremely professional and affordable. owner was on the job sight at least every other day and was always accessible on his cell phone. I have other projects to do around the house and I will definitely hire them for the jobs.

Everything from start to finish was done very professionally, to my liking, and with the utmost care. The owner was there twice a day to check on the progress and oversee his crew. They will be completing another large project for me in the near future because of the quality and value of the work. I can't say enough good things about them. Do not hesitate to hire this company.

The contractor is always on top of the project and is available by cell phone at all times. I will use him/his company for future projects...painting and flooring.

The project turned out great. I went with the style he suggested for the walk-in shower and I love the result. We worked around mine and their schedule. A few problems where resolved immediately. No final payment until everything was completed and I was happy with the results.
