Wayne is a perfectionist and he either does the work himself or carefully watches over subcontract work and will redo any work that is not up to his standards. I will continue to use H&F Services, Inc. for any and all work on my house.

Wayne and his crew were exceptional from the initial contact and estimate through to the end of the project. During the estimate, Wayne was the most knowledgeable (we had 3 contractors provide bids) and genuinely enjoyed sharing his expertise with me. The workmanship was fantastic and H&F Services went above and beyond to fix things the right way. I would hire H&F Services on future projects; including in my own home (which, really says a lot!).

Wayne is highly professional when dealing with clients and subcontractors. He completes projects on time with exceptional quality of work that stands out among his competitors.

Terrible experience. We hired this company because during the walk-through and estimate, the owner seemed very knowledgeable and highly concerned with the quality of work. He pointed out things that he would not let slide with his own crew. This resonanted with my husband who is very meticulous and has done his own construction work for many years. He also indicated that he would be reviewing the work consistently and would address any problems right away. We also hired him because of his Christian background which spoke to us of high integrity. The first concern was that he required 90% of the contract price before any work was done whatsoever. Normally this would be a red flag for us and when we questioned it, we were informed that if that was a deal-breaker then so be it. So we agreed to it, given the mess of a home we had been living in for quite some time. We paid 50% at contract signing and 40% the day the first material was delivered. The insulation guy did fine, the drywall hangers did not hang some areas properly to the point that when the mud guy came he informed us he could not do the work because the drywall hangers didn't do it right. When we expressed concern with the owner, we did not receive a kind or understanding response. We were frustated because now the work had to be delayed again for a long weekend. But were told we just needed to calm down and not be speaking to the crew or they wouldn't work for us. We decided to let that conversation go and waited for the owner or workers to show up and continue the work. A man was sent to address the mud work and at first he didn't want to fix anything then admitted the work wasn't done properly and that the wrong drywall material was used and my husband purchased materials and my husband and the gentlemen repaired the problem together. Then the mudder came back. The work was done however no care was given to outlets or light switches so that when it came time to install these, large gaping holes were seen and had to be repaired by my husband (mudding, texturing). It was shoddy work. Finally because the owner had not been out ONCE since the work began to inspect or supervise, we asked if we could just finish the painting and repair work ourselves, since he was obviously very busy. We felt that was a fair compromise. We would just take over the work and let him move on. That was a series of unprofessional and unkind phone calls. He refused to give us what had been estimated as the paint cost. We then asked if he would just refund what we actually incurred to do the paint work. To no avail. We spent $1,708.17 on painting. We simply decided to let the matter drop. It was causing such stress for our family and we wished nothing further to do with them. To the owner's credit, we later received a refund check for $600. This is only 1/3 of what we are owed.

It went pretty well. Everything they did was in a timely manner and they did great job.

It went very well. Always courteous and explained everything that was going on. My house was built in 1959, so there was alot of problems, but they were GREAT. I definitely would hire again.

Wayne and Trey did an excellent job on my kitchen, exhibiting promptness, professionalism, and keeping me informed every step of the way. The work is very high-quality, and I would definitely hire them again for future work.

Excellence and pride in craftsmanship is alive and well. Wayne Hughes and his son Trey are honest, fair, "do it right" kind of people. They are the definition of construction professionals. I highly recommend, and I will use him again. I finally feel I have finally found "MY" contractor.

The service was impeccable! H & F was professional and efficient. They treated the job as if it was there own property. I would recommend them to friends and family. 

Not only does it look like the wall never existed, at the end of each day you couldn't tell Wayne and his crew were working. Very clean and professional. Will never use anyone else! Highly recommend H & F services for any and all needs around your home.

Wayne and his team did an excellent job rebuilding our backyard fence and regrading our garden. The quality of the work and Wayne's professionalism is second to none. He was very responsive and kept us in the loop at every step. I definitely recommend him for all your home remodeling needs.

How did it go?  <br /> <br /> Personally, I feel H&F done a fabulous job. Stayed within the budget (important) and they done that! Keeps you informed and listens to you and your ideas.  <br /> When we started this project, we had thoughts of a walk-in bathtub (we are 55+ in age) but quickly decided on a walk-in shower with a bench. Wayne gave us bids for both and talked to us about both, giving the pros and cons for each. Also, as I stated before, our sewer main is actually in the middle of our foundation wall so Wayne was faced with designing a system to take the waste and drain it FIRST, THEN pump it up into the main line. He did need to jack-hammer some concrete out for the plumbing and to dig a hole for the pumping equipment. All completed and running well. Thanks Wayne! <br /> We were new to remodels and Wayne was able to help us through some of the decisions for tile, flooring, and stuff. He also had suggestions where to go for certain items. In the case of the pump, Wayne and I discussed options and came to a conclusion of what to purchase.  <br /> The finished product is outstanding. The shower is like an Oasis, able to sit and soak a bit.  <br /> Always called us back when we left a message. <br /> Left the areas clean after work was completed (another important item for me). <br /> Professional <br /> Friendly <br /> Just plain <strong>Good People<br /> </strong>By Wayne building the second bathroom in our small abode, we were able to create a master suite in the basement, opening up the main floor for entertaining. Essentially taking a home of 750 square feet and making it a 1260 square foot home.  <br /> <br />

The basement had initial issues with Windows and plumbing. Changes were made along the way. The basement finishes were done in a professional manner. This basement finish added a huge value to the home. The bathroom and closets are added touches. The rounded corners match the upstairs walls. The light fixtures and speakers added to the basement are utized and show the finished look. All of the workers showed concern about the dust and mess, and the cleanup was accomplished in a timely manner. This provider had great technicians and accomplished all the tasks proficiently.
