"Hello Mrs. Flores, I want to apologize on behalf of the company that you feel this way. That is never our intentions. We, however, have made multiple attempts to contact you and resolve it. We even stated, directly to you, that we can come out on Nov 22 and look at the work that is in question to come to an agreement. The Hardee-board was installed by another contractor incorrectly when we arrived to do the estimate. We offered to have our company install it correctly which you then refused our offer and had them come back to reinstall the correct board. When we arrived at the job site to get started, we noticed the board had still, yet again, been installed incorrectly, which is written in the contract that you are aware of it as well as us. Your husband then asked if we were really going to charge you the fix it and, in our discretion, we agreed to do it completely free (which is not within any contractors means to fix someone else?s work for free.) Regardless, we did the best we could to relieve a stress bend due to the board being bowed out and the tub being installed incorrectly as well (by a completely different contractor). The board bowed out an inch from the wall. We have photos we can provide as well of the situation we had to work with. We then started our work. In the beginning, you wanted the tile laid a certain way and when your husband had seen it, he wanted it removed and done a different way. We removed and re-laid tile 3 times because of the disagreement between you and your spouse. However, we worked around it. Mid work performance you also changed the access code to the house to do the work within the empty residence and refused to answer the phone on multiple occasions. When you decided to get mad at us for not showing up at a certain time saying no one had called you, I then showed you the calls on two cell phones trying to get in contact with you. During this whole time, you did not honor and breached the contract, you read and signed, on multiple occasions. As professionals we did not complain or mention it once just to be able to complete the work to satisfaction and by the due date. We still completed the work within the deadline of the contract regardless of being interrupted, unable to gain access, and told to redo it multiple times. You were satisfied with the work completed when we did our final walk through with you and paid the remaining half with no issues. We also cleaned and used a vacuum to suck up any dust or debris. The remaining overage amount of tiles we did not dispose of or remove from your residence as you had stated in the beginning that they were yours, you bought them, and wanted them. Only a week later did you call to complain saying that the tile was not perfectly symmetrical on one wall and that ?a few tiles are slightly raised higher than the others? I could not verify what you were talking about and offered to come back and look at it to see Nov 22, 2021. You then got upset and said, ?you can?t come early in the morning or late after you?re done with the other places?? I explained that it was impossible in the mornings as we have kids that need dropped off to school and babysitters and that we will be working late at the other projects due to deadlines we have to meet for other customers. However, I can make you priority Nov 22.? After getting more upset you hung up. You are still on the schedule unless you wish otherwise."
